I just got the 629 it says it's supposed to be able to reset the sas for all cars after 1996 that's not true and trying to contact the support team is almost impossible for this product because it's located in China
Not just that... Your 04 Honda ECU software is 16 years old. One should expect Data transmission between car and scanner to be slower than it would be with a newer car with more recent software/hardware. The same can also be said for "live data" updates in real time. Also not a shortcoming of the scanner.
One got autel customer service from china (ML) the other one got the european customer service (AL) then the ml is grey the al is red but it's the same tool
Autel states that the "AL" tools are marketed to the North American market and the "ML" tools are for the rest of the world. In the near future Autel will have a web site specifically for the North American market. For the best support effort they said to buy the "AL" product if I live in USA or Canada.
I plugged mine first into the car, came up with the VIN right away. I was impressed.

NOT Micro USB that is the older Mini USB and cables are hard to find. It was deprecated in 2007 !

Those buckle switches are covered under warranty up to 2005MY. The cut off light is about $50 last time I checked.
I have the ML version. Exact same tool but supports global cars , not just North America.

No, unfortunately, it can't do TPMS. It's worth it.

It can, it's kinda slow but I've been able to verify a bad sensor with it.
