I just watched this video and I wanted to let you know that it led me to visit the Daily Grace website which then led me to their podcasts on Spotify and has helped me jump back into doing my devotions by listening to the podcasts and then reading the word of God after. I have been looking for a new podcast other than the one from Elevation church and this one is amazing. I have been needing to jump back into the word of God and spending time with him. Thank you for sharing some of your life with God and devotional books with us!
Explore Havilah Cunnington devotionals! I’ve done “Soul Food,” “Radical Growth,” “Eat, Pray, Hustle” and now on “The Good Stuff”. I also read her book, “Stronger than the Struggle.”
Uninvited is such an amazing book! My copy is so marked up from all of the wise truths inside of it! I hope you love reading it! My current favorite book now is “Am I Enough?” By Grace Valentine. It’s such a great read and it’s so relatable!
If you ever go down to Murfreesboro there is this little shop called the Christian Publishers Outlet, and it is like LifeWay but majorly discounted. It is my favorite store ever! Anytime I go to Nashville I always swing down to Murfreesboro to visit that store specifically 😍❤️
Friend of Sinners by Rich Wilkerson, Jr is also a really good read! Talks about how Jesus cares more about having a relationship with us than for us to be perfect Christians.
Yayyyy I have been searching for good book recommendations like this... Can't wait to read these! Do you have any tips for how to make time for reading and devotionals, especially while in school?? Also, are the pages in the she reads truth bible pretty thick or really thin???
I have some questions, do all of these things so the bible, 100 verse, and so on... do they come from the Holy Bible? Im just curious to know because they seem like super amazing books! And I want to know. THANK YOU.
Does that She Reads Truth Bible have all the books of the Bible? Or is it a shorter Protestant bible? The Protestant bible has a significant amount of original books removed :/ so to me that’s not the complete bible
Hannah Ashton so it’s the orthodox bible? If it’s not the Orthodox Bible it’s not the complete bible. Martin Luther (founder of Protestantism) removed several of the Old Testament books and that’s why non orthodox and non Catholics have a shorter bible... if She Reads Truth is not an orthodox bible it’s not the complete bible..
Hannah Ashton Here is a good explanation! ruclips.net/video/i_NbI8_HLQM/видео.html You non Catholics and non orthodox are not reading the complete Word of God! The Protestant bible had books removed by Martin Luther who also wanted to remove even more books but couldn’t because of the public outcry. Jesus quoted scripture in the NT from books that you guys haven’t even read, because you’re reading an incomplete bible.
Hannah Ashton To specify; Martin Luther actually removed (or attempted to remove) more than just 7 of the books in the OT. He was determined to make the Bible fit his theology, even if that removing books. From the NT, he decided to take out Hebrews, James, Jude and Revelation because they didn't fit his teaching of saved by faith alone without works. Thankfully he couldn’t go that far. You’re not reading all of the same scriptures that Jesus read by sticking to the changed Protestant bible.
Love your sit down videos but please vlog more!! You’re so inspirational Hannah, love you girl!
