Thank you so much for your review! We're just got exactly the same camera. But we need your suggestion, please. Where would be the best spot to attach? We're living in the detached home 2 floors. We're not sure where to attach them on the ground floor above the main door or the second floor, so we could see the whole front house area from above. By the way, we're going to have the front doorbell camera too.
Congratulations on the new cameras. As for attaching them. eufy usually has suggestions inside the install process. I would install the camera in the app while inside the house then take it outside and see what it sees at various places. Field of view will be important to capture what you want to keep an eye on. I'd also point it out a window on the second floor to see those views. If I recall eufy suggests 7-10 feet up for the best angle. You also want to make sure its not too far away from the action or you will lost resolution. Though with 4K it's pretty good. Since you will have a doorbell too you might want to attach the camera so it sees a different angle than the doorbell so you get a good look. let us know if you have more questions and how you ended up installing them.
This is a good pretty good solution for anyone who can’t run power to location and don’t want to pay for a subscription
The best video review I’ve seen on S3 Pro about HomeKit. Thanks a lot for the insightful review.
