Since I rarely pick up the remote - I just reach over to my side table to use it - what I did was under the silicone case I taped a wedge of wood with the same footprint that has a 10mm to 0 tilted toward the user. This tilted setup for me is simply perfect... The odd time you need to pick it up - is not so bad either. Obviously, you could use any material for the base as long it does not have to be picked up to slide around. The tilt made a grippy base unnecessary.
I foudn the HomePod mini idea particularly interesting. I wouldn't use it as a speaker. But, like the idea of controlling the Apple TV. In regards to CONTROLLING the Apple TV, Is there any benefit to buying the HomePod mini over just telling your iPhone the same "hey Siri" commands?
hands free controlling. with hey siri commands you have your phone on you whereas with the homepod you can do all this without using a phone. i find it faster to tell siri a command than have to pull out my phone and do it but thats just me. Thanks for watching! 😊
How can I turn on the “live” feed/streaming of the PiP security camera notification? Just like it shows at your video at 8:05 minute. Mine used to have it and now all I see is a photo/snapshot.

um... item 1... almost lost me in this video when item 1 was a blindingly obvious one. Its like saying one must have accessory for the Apple TV is.... a TV. or a power socket. you are also incorrect here as although you don't need to spend a lot on a cable there ARE distinct types of HDMI cables so if you intend to use AppleTV with a Dolby Atmos capable sound device its important that all your HDMI cables are 2.1 certified to ensure the best experience. Look for 2.1 or 'high speed' certified cables here.
I haven’t checked the specs but probably since just the charging port is changed but there’s plenty of room so I’d assume so. I’ll test it when I get the new one in. Thanks for watching! 😊
Do you have a video on how to fix automations using the Apple TV? For some reason, if I edited an automation, it stops working. I use it to turn switches on and off, etc.. I end up having to delete "home" from my phone and starting over.., re-setting up the TV, etc.. any ideas?

My LG tv has Bluetooth. I connected my AirPods Pro 1 hooked to it. I love watching TV with my earbuds. Really can get into the feeling a movie.
