The fact that you not only gave us the output PSI through your own testing but included the correspondence with the vendor and your own commentary on it immediately gave you so much credibility and I just respect the hell out of that. Thank you for the clean, concise, thoughtful, and easy to understand video.
To Carston I have a 30 dollars gotccher air compressor it's tiny and pumps out 15 to 20 psi. They work but what it's a bothersome they over heat fast so I wouldn't recommend if you're painting more than 3 hours. An air compresor or a air tank is much better. And you can adjust the pressure. These things it's great for make up or short artworks
Hi carsten, i got a simular one and it does his work fairly good. I painted 2 same car body,s with the same mix of paint. And the results were good from both. But the battery was warming up in about 20-25 minutes and started to pump out less air. I had the pressure meter between it. When i used it i just used a m3 sanding sponge to polish the needle a bit, because it feld a bit rough. I think it is a good machine for those wo don,t like to spend a lot of money when they start with airbrushing. For me it was a decent buy for decent money. Keep up the good info and tutorials about airbrushing👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for your comment and yes I agree it’s a great option for someone who wants to give airbrushing a go for very little investment , I think as technology improves these battery units will really challenge larger compressors and make airbrushing with the larger noisy compressors a thing of the past 🤔
Next time you might want to use a template that is as least a correct rendition of a buffalo or bull skull, the one you used is not even close to anatomically correct skull.
I look forward to your videos. Great job. I have a question. How long can you keep premixed, 50/50 Tamiya Acrylics? Is it days, weeks or months? I appreciate the help.
Thanks for your question and glad you enjoy the videos , to be honest…I have no idea as I don’t use Tamiya paints that said if it’s in a bottle which seals well then it should past as I keep urethanes mixed for years and as long as they can’t dry out they are good to go 👍🏻
Is there a resource for the kinds of ink you're using in this video? I'm totally new to airbrushing and only have black ink and would love to try the different 'transparent' inks you're using in this video. Thanks!

Hi, Enjoyed your video. Can I ask something...? When I followed the link for this at Amazon it doesn't show me the same make/model as yours. Is your one only available in your country? Not sure if the make/models are the same company but known differently in the UK? Thanks
Damn, that thing performs really nicely. I'd expected the pressure to start dropping or becoming less stable as the battery decreased, I'm impressed. Were you running a long hose? Given the pressure being 'locked' at 20psi, do you think an Iwata HP-B (I think it is, a High Performance I bought from you mid-late last year) would go well? From memory the Eclipse and HP both liked a higher pressure at the pump than a Neo, Hi-Line or Micron. Great video, glad to see it in proper operation after the unboxing/initial tests. It's probably worth getting one just for the portability aspect.
Very nice! Thanks for posting Carson! I'm currently airbrushing 3d objects (fishing lures) so there is more blending than shading. Still, I'm watching your shading technique closely because I definitely want to try doing some artworks. Think it is cool to capture the light/life by defining the shadows. Cheers!
Thanks for this review! The 20psi is a bit disappointing after the box claimed 32; definitely treading into the intentionally misleading area (not totally false, but getting in the area). The Amazon description does NOT mention anything except 32psi, but a vendor reply to comment indicates lower psi is due to pressure loss in the hoses. There isn't any mention of a regulator holding it to 20psi. It is again available on Amazon by the way (late Oct 2021! $67 US). Cool artwork & done in 45 minutes. Wow!
Thank you and yes, whether it’s an output (loss of pressure) or a restrictive mode I agree that it should be clearer but it is a great little unit nonetheless and managed to keep up with no issues throughout this test, it will be interesting to see how long it will last 👍🏻👍🏻
Manufacturer claims that it generates 32psi 'blocking pressure' but the unit is regulated to approx 20psi output pressure. The manufacturer cannot however define what 'blocking pressure' is nor provide any evidence of 32psi. It IS misleading indeed and dare I say fraudulent. It's akin to advertising a car as a V8 but you can only use 5 cylinders......
Amazing artwork in 45 minutes. I am strongly considering one of these units for spraying outside my hobby room and not having to drag a heavy compressor around. Thank you for sharing.

buying one these for my sister and maybe one for me when it's to late for the compressor to be running.
Yes , great idea they will definitely keep your neighbors happy 👍🏻👌🏻
Looks okay, but way under your needs.
Awesome Dear sir 👍🏻🙏🏻
Sir ....what color do you use sir?
Super Video vielen lieben Dank 👍
Классно. Сегодня мне доставили такой компрессор. Буду учиться рисовать.
I'm new to airbrushing great videos! would it be a bad thing to start airbrushing with a Iwata Cm- c plus?
I bought this!
I have an iwata eclipse hp-bcs and I was wondering if the compressor is strong enough to use since siphon need more psi to spray

To bad there isn't a red dot sight for airbrushes.. I have trouble aiming with only one eye
That’s a great idea 👌🏻
@@AirbrushAsylum Im gonna tinker around & try to come up with something lol
I like you mix unit - - - Good review - - - I give it 10 stars
Thank you so much glad you enjoyed the video 👍🏻
Do you have a link where to purchase please?
Do you find this cordless compressor stronger then the spray gunner one? I think the spray gunner max psi 30. What do you think this runs at?
Most likely the exact same product, just with different branding.
Could it be used while charging?
From my test so far it can , but it would obviously restrict the portability 👍🏻
Where can we get that rice paper tape from?

What brands of paints do you use?
Primarily Trident and some Createx illustration colors 👍🏻
Where can i get the template from.
