I have never played snooker, only bar pool (8 ball or 9 ball) and occasionally on full sized billiards tables. I struggle with control on a 6 foot table. The idea of playing on a snooker table that is almost twice the size of a "bar pool" table gives me panicky sweats. I doubt I could even finish a game of snooker properly before the bar keeper kicked me out at the end of the night. I could easily lose to a 147 since I would probably foul at least 36 times.
@@delphic464 Honestly, twice the size doesn't do it justice - the first time I went from pool to snooker it was like a football pitch. I can be pretty handy on a pool table, win against most normal people. On a snooker table I look like a total beginner...and the pockets on a typical club table are a lot bigger than the ones these guys play on. Their abilities are ridiculous, Ronnie being the pinnacle for me
I love to try! I think on my best game ever I got 40 points, that means I’m not that good. However, I can also say that that was not in one turn to the table that was the whole game. So I can appreciate watching this and just wish I was even one tenth as good.
There are many discussions on who is the GOAT for other sports such as soccer and NBA basketball. But when it comes to snooker, there is one and only indisputable - Ronnie O'Sullivan 👏👏👏
For the first time in my life I saw Ronnie O'Sullivan in 2004 at the Masters semifinal against Jimmy White. I was in the kitchen and my father called me and said: look at this man he plays so fast. I really was impressed by his game and since that day I always supported him. I was happy with his victories and sad with his defeats. Ronnie O'Sullivan is the best player I ever seen is great to watch even if you don't understand a shit in snooker. Ronnie 🤴
It always lovely to see the other players stop playing and be genuinely buzzing for the player that makes the 147 at the end.. The real magic of snooker...
Happy for his fellow '92 classmate, 11 years after they graduated. The other one (Mark Williams) won the tournament. 19 years later they're all still at it.
I’ve watched snooker all my life,i was obsessed with it in the 80’s,barely missed a frame of the 1985 World championship ,drove my mum mad😁,i loved the flare players,Alex and Jimmy, then Ronnie comes along, the greatest most naturally talented and gifted player i have ever seen, saw him once in my home town of Brighton with my son,was an afternoon session of the UK Open, beat John Parrott playing his C game, the great Ray Reardon was his mentor then, just needs one more World title, that record would never be beaten, not in my lifetime anyway.
Head and shoulders above the rest, not even the phenomenal Steven Hendry can compare. On his day ronnie is poetry in motion, simply magic, simply unstoppable.
In order to let Snooker reaching its zenith and gaining mammoth attention & popularity all over the world,Ronnie should keep playing this wonderful mental game with full of physics involves atleast till 55 if not less.
Had never watched that comletely before. Just amazing, looking at this man putting a time on the referees. He must be thinking to himself saying "Ah Jan is 60 sec slower than Len". (cauz the rocket didn't change) 😂😂
He was a snooker legend, unmatched in skill and style. His every shot was a spectacle, leaving the audience breathless. Anyone who had ever played billiards would appreciate his mastery and finesse. He achieved a 147 break without disturbing the pack, a feat that was extraordinary.
I just recently started watching snooker highlights and I still don't have a clue really but I thunk I get you have to pot all the reds first but after that is there a certain order the other colors need to be potted in?
After every red (1 point) you pot you must play a colour. Once every red has gone off the table then it is the yellow (2 points) green (3) brown (4) blue (5) pink (6) and black (7 points) in that order. You win the frame by scoring more points than your opponent. To get a maximum break you have to pot the black ball after every red. 1+7=8x15(reds+blacks)=120+27(remaining 6 colours)=147. Very difficult to do.
You know how special a 147 in snooker is when fellow pro players halt their game to watch one in the making.Ronnie O’Sullivan, the Dark Lord of snooker.
The best part is, if you get a chance to play against him and get defeated..You will still be happy and proud. The Great Master.. Ronnie...He's Snooker himself i would say. He makes me play snooker.
I would compare Ronnies achievements to a certain mr Rossi, they have both elevated their respected sports to new levels..difference being...ronnie is still going strong.
Every superlative to describe this player has been used up. Simply the best. The Rocket. The GOAT. He makes it look easy and enthralling at the same time 🍀
I did a 147 once. After a few tries that is. By a few I meant after a dozen or so frames. It was my first ever 147. Then I woke up and was late for work.
The red jan is so good, cleans the black everytime super fast. And chalk marks in the way. All while staying away from Ronnie but been close to the collecting pocket.
Hes the greatest 21 majors 39 ranking titles the most centuries and 147s keeping hendry Higgins Williams Selby robbo ding trump at bay beating them when it counts on his own terms never been a slave to the game his aura and presence is unique nobody like him everything he does makes headlines for the sport his longevity is legendary and will be his lecacy and world number 1 at 46 BOOM🔥🔥
Funny how the commentator says "thats a shade to far" "didnt get the right angle there" This is Ronny your talking about he was born on a snooker table, like Phelps in a Pool, Merckx on a bike or Schumacher in a race car. The Goat...
I love it when there are 2 tables been played together and the other players come and watch a 147 been played!
*being. Just helping.
If you have ever played snooker you will realize how astonishing his abilities are.

We used to celebrate if we got a red and a colour at the same visit!!
Pool is easy cos pockets are bigger.
But snooker is very difficult
No one makes it easy as Ronnie.
There's only one Ronnie O'Sullivan.
Watching him play makes me feel like even I could run the table. He makes it look so easy, indeed!
No. Sullivans are two. And Trumps as well.

He's always entertain everybody there. Even John stop playing the other table just to watch maximum break. How great sportsmanship between.
HIggins seems like such a great guy
Yups! I don't know if John retire from snooker. Maybe Ronnie will do same things too.
Ronnie is the GOAT 💯

@Wayne Anthony Holmes I have never heard anything so immature in all my life
@Wayne Anthony Holmes you're a freak. Stop referring to yourself as "gay". You're giving gay people a bad name. 🤔

Is it 15 147s he's got? That's unreal. Unbelievable talent and so cool about it all considering the money on offer.

Ronnie é incomparável! Mito, lenda, e será 8 vezes campeão mundial.

So inspiring in any walk of life.
The cue ball control was actually near perfect till the last 2 or 3 shots. Even then it sure did the job anyway!
You don`t know why, you don`t know how but it`s magic ... all the way! ❤

Greatest of all time 🐐
By a country mile
Higgins, white, stephens, O’Sullivan. The masters of the game. Flare and style but fkn brilliant to watch as well
When listing the best ever, you can't skip over Stephen Hendry. Even Ronnie regards him as the GOAT.

If Ronnie played like he did this year he would have won 20 Worlds not 7
He should at least be on 10, and they all know it. Reckon he’ll get another in. At top of his game again.
