Once I stopped trying to catch every move on the one minute, let alone every move each day, the market unfolds in such a beautiful way to the T when you’re patient. Sit on your hands ladies and gentlemen, when you get that urge just to hop in, do some push-ups lol and wait some more, the market unfolds every time and the question of “why didn’t I just wait, why did I get in so early” will cease. Facts, the reason why the element of TIME is crucial, certain moves can only happen at certain times (we have to backtest and know them). Not waiting for those times is just exposing ourselves to price BS and frustrations.

If you have been backtesting the information covered in the other videos, then there are specific questions that have come up in your mind. They are all answered here! Me too bro, me too. I’ve been trying to trade for like 6+ years now I don’t even know how long if I’m honest, but I knew this whole time I will become profitable if I just didn’t give up, especially as I have time on my side. I’ve known about ict for a long time and always trusted him but never saw clearly and consistently what he was teaching. I’ve become a better trader over the years but I’m still yet to master day trading. This series has been insane and I’m currently paper trading and would be in profit right now if I was demo/live trading. I’m gunna keep looking for set ups daily until the end of June and then switch to demo trading. I am already eternally grateful for Michael being the man that he is. Good luck man!
I appreciate your comments and honesty, not least about your OCD. I have had many compulsions in the past often leaving me a complete mess with uncontrolled gambling with CFDs. I am taking it easy and watching your videos and using demo but have seen some early signs of seeing a framework, nothing more. Do we have to wait for the sweep then a 15 min mss first then start panning down into the 5 and lower? Or just wait for a 5 min mss after the sweep then look for a clear fvg on lower if none is on the 5?

This lesson really hit home for me. I have many years of conditioning that I am fighting to change. I have been so frustrated because I can see this works, but I have still struggled. After watching this once I turned on my executions and went back through every trade for months. I marked daily bias and breaks of structure, and compared my entries. It did not take very long to see where I was repeating my mistakes. I am now on third viewing of this video, taking notes, and going back through most recent trades trying to identify my logic and correct it. Thanks ICT

Forex is more complex, USD,EUR,GBP,CAD,JPY,AUD,CHF....they all tied together. The move all major and cross pair is respect by their weight. Key : tied together. If EURGBP should delivered at certain level, they should move EURUSD & GBPUSD. This year is for CROSS pair delivery.

Hi Michael, I think that for the 20th ICT episode you should do a recap of all the 2022 mentorship episodes. From the beginning explaining FVG, orderblocks, mitigations, OTE, ITH/ITL, Judas swings, 3 drives, how to backtest, how to setup backtesting chart, go through multiple backtesting examples, how u start ur day with all the drawings on the chart prior to 8:30 am, when to enter during market open, how to find the afternoon trend, etc…& while showing the last 2 requests such as marking the drawings prior to 8:30…show us how to backtest it throughly…..please make the video at least 2+ hours long with sections…this would be an good summary idea…hope this helps! 42:00 corect explanation of OrderBlock!

It is very annoying to hear segments of your videos where you address them. You do not have to prove anything to them anymore nor US (willing students that are grinding for a better future). Please, it feels like im getting lost whenever you address the haters either people that is outside your community and even your ICT students which I do not understand how can they paid a mentorship to you that results in constant questioning towards your guidance, that is nonesense and you should take measures to send a clear message that you will not waste time with people that is not trusting you. I've been studying Trading since March 2020 and I've read many books, watched tens of hours of videos and nothing made much sense and gave me confidence to start applying to live trading but this (because I'm a bit of a perfectionist) . I started live trading in January of this year (2022) with a $100 account (because I felt I needed to stop hesitating and apply knowledge) and ran it down to $27 before I started using this method. I'm now at $45 which is a 66% equity increase in 3 weeks of trading risking 5%. I wasn't even applying the method perfectly because I was, and still am applying as I learn. Thank You ICT.
Timeframes D - 1h - 15m - (5m) Context Bullish Daily Bias We had strong trend, meaning a lot of Bullish candles which will eventually result in a pullback We identify a zone of imbalance where price realistically can make a pullback to Entry Zone On the Daily with our Previous Daily Low we can expect a Judas swing low into the FVG, (Two Bullish factors - The expected Judas swing and a retracement to the FVG) There is an obvious POI. A significant High or a Equal Highs as our target of liquidity Right above Buyside liquidity which is our target, TP Actions Mark Previous day Highs and Lows - Daily Mark a Imbalance/FVG - Daily Mark a significant High or a Equal Highs as our target of liquidity - D Open the 1h and the 15m Mark the True Daily Open 00:00 NY until 11:00 Wait for a Liquidity grab, MSS/BOS with displacement (If needed, look on a 5m for a better entry) A retracement to a FVG If a OB lines up with your FVG you should take that FVG for higher probability TP right above your Previous Daily High

When making a series, it would be nice to have it all be done on either equities or forex, the back and forth with the specifics makes things more complicated than they need to be. I know you like naked charts but there are some helpful indicators on trading view that might help your viewers. I'm currently using 2 indicators that helps find Imbalance and Fair Value Gaps until I can train myself to see them without the help. The 2 I'm using are : Anche/FVG & Imbalance . (I have algorithm questions) Hey the trader within the center of the circle. Thanks for all this information on the algorithm. As a computer scientist and now ex Amazon software engineer, to pursue trading so I can no longer trade my hours for an hourly rate.. I'm very grateful for this knowledge as I've been able to further my understanding on the algorithm with your free mentorship. And I can already see these patterns in price. I'm grateful for this. I do have some questions though, based on my understanding of the algorithm. As I see it the algorithm is similar to a mathematical function, where data determines price at a given time. Based on information the market then prices in perceived value. And the portion of the market which can generate the most sell side or buy side liquidity at the time then causes price the change. Ofcourse the ones who can generate the most contracts also have the information faster than us. I have many questions that I'd like to discuss. One of them is: Doesn't data then play a role in bias and where price will move to and are you going to cover this? Cause I've looked at how liquidity flows through different financial markets and change in data seems to influence this and then since the markets I watch are correlated this plays a factor in liquidity flow.
I use your concepts exactly like this to trade ES. I'm seeing consistency and watching this video of the EXACT process to frame out the day really validates what I'm doing. I need to work on my execution so that I'm not blind limiting the zones created by OBs and FVGs though. (ICT, Blink twice if you go into an even lower time frame to catch the turns) but once I build good habits, there will be wind in the sails.

No-one in their right mind is gonna give money to a company who's website reads "We excited to have you apart of one the fastest growing companies of our time" "We 'ARE' excited to have you 'BE' 'A' PART'" with a space after the A otherwise you are referring to being away from something, not together. Its good to have dreams but you cant just skip to the top. Worry about one step at a time, and the professionalism of your website will make a difference whether people will give you their money. As price went down, I got greedy and pyramided down. Got even more greedy thinking price was moving past my low hanging fruit so took out my take profit limit. Price ended up bouncing off my low hanging fruit limit and moving against me to auto liquidate my positions and blow my account. Feels bad. The model is great when disciplined to stay the course. I have more to learn. Will continue moving through this mentorship series and might get back into the market if the conversation with the wife doesn’t kill me

Once I stopped trying to catch every move on the one minute, let alone every move each day, the market unfolds in such a beautiful way to the T when you’re patient.
Sit on your hands ladies and gentlemen, when you get that urge just to hop in, do some push-ups lol and wait some more, the market unfolds every time and the question of “why didn’t I just wait, why did I get in so early” will cease. No matter if it’s a late entry, cut your risk and ride the wave. Understand this is a skill for life, not just for right now.

Me too bro, me too. I’ve been trying to trade for like 6+ years now I don’t even know how long if I’m honest, but I knew this whole time I will become profitable if I just didn’t give up, especially as I have time on my side. I’ve known about ict for a long time and always trusted him but never saw clearly and consistently what he was teaching. I’ve become a better trader over the years but I’m still yet to master day trading. This series has been insane and I’m currently paper trading and would be in profit right now if I was demo/live trading. I’m gunna keep looking for set ups daily until the end of June and then switch to demo trading. I am already eternally grateful for Michael being the man that he is.

Do we have to wait for the sweep then a 15 min mss first then start panning down into the 5 and lower? Or just wait for a 5 min mss after the sweep then look for a clear fvg on lower if none is on the 5?

This lesson really hit home for me. I have many years of conditioning that I am fighting to change. I have been so frustrated because I can see this works, but I have still struggled. After watching this once I turned on my executions and went back through every trade for months. I marked daily bias and breaks of structure, and compared my entries. It did not take very long to see where I was repeating my mistakes. I am now on third viewing of this video, taking notes, and going back through most recent trades trying to identify my logic and correct it. Thanks ICT

Forex is more complex, USD,EUR,GBP,CAD,JPY,AUD,CHF....they all tied together. The move all major and cross pair is respect by their weight. Key : tied together. If EURGBP should delivered at certain level, they should move EURUSD & GBPUSD. This year is for CROSS pair delivery.

Hi Michael, I think that for the 20th ICT episode you should do a recap of all the 2022 mentorship episodes. From the beginning explaining FVG, orderblocks, mitigations, OTE, ITH/ITL, Judas swings, 3 drives, how to backtest, how to setup backtesting chart, go through multiple backtesting examples, how u start ur day with all the drawings on the chart prior to 8:30 am, when to enter during market open, how to find the afternoon trend, etc…& while showing the last 2 requests such as marking the drawings prior to 8:30…show us how to backtest it throughly…..please make the video at least 2+ hours long with sections…this would be an good summary idea…hope this helps!

It is very annoying to hear segments of your videos where you address them. You do not have to prove anything to them anymore nor US (willing students that are grinding for a better future). We are fully trusting your model, your time, and your dedication by following every episode. At least I am one of them. I've been studying Trading since March 2020 and I've read many books, watched tens of hours of videos and nothing made much sense and gave me confidence to start applying to live trading but this (because I'm a bit of a perfectionist) . I started live trading in January of this year (2022) with a $100 account (because I felt I needed to stop hesitating and apply knowledge) and ran it down to $27 before I started using this method. I'm now at $45 which is a 66% equity increase in 3 weeks of trading risking 5%. I wasn't even applying the method perfectly because I was, and still am applying as I learn. Thank You ICT.

When making a series, it would be nice to have it all be done on either equities or forex, the back and forth with the specifics makes things more complicated than they need to be. Maybe at the end of the series if you made one specific video covering a bunch of the small difference between forex and equities, that would be more helpful. Another tip - Hold CTRL + CLICK AND DRAG MOUSE - to replicate object then you can hold CTRL to "snap" it to the price at candles highs/lows/open/close :)

It's amazing how your teachings trains our minds to look at the charts in a total different way . As usual amazing content. I know you like naked charts but there are some helpful indicators on trading view that might help your viewers. I'm currently using 2 indicators that helps find Imbalance and Fair Value Gaps until I can train myself to see them without the help. The 2 I'm using are : Anche/FVG & Imbalance . Your awesome ICT I hope I see you in OC over the summer so I can buy you a beer.

(I have algorithm questions)
Hey the trader within the center of the circle. Thanks for all this information on the algorithm. As a computer scientist and now ex Amazon software engineer, to pursue trading so I can no longer trade my hours for an hourly rate.. I'm very grateful for this knowledge as I've been able to further my understanding on the algorithm with your free mentorship. And I can already see these patterns in price. I'm grateful for this.
I do have some questions though, based on my understanding of the algorithm.
As I see it the algorithm is similar to a mathematical function, where data determines price at a given time. Based on information the market then prices in perceived value. And the portion of the market which can generate the most sell side or buy side liquidity at the time then causes price the change. Ofcourse the ones who can generate the most contracts also have the information faster than us.
I have many questions that I'd like to discuss. One of them is:
Doesn't data then play a role in bias and where price will move to and are you going to cover this? Cause I've looked at how liquidity flows through different financial markets and change in data seems to influence this and then since the markets I watch are correlated this plays a factor in liquidity flow.
I use your concepts exactly like this to trade ES. I'm seeing consistency and watching this video of the EXACT process to frame out the day really validates what I'm doing. I need to work on my execution so that I'm not blind limiting the zones created by OBs and FVGs though.
(ICT, Blink twice if you go into an even lower time frame to catch the turns) but once I build good habits, there will be wind in the sails.

Its good to have dreams but you cant just skip to the top. Worry about one step at a time, and the professionalism of your website will make a difference whether people will give you their money. Just needed a place to vent real quick. Don’t know if you’ll see this. Took a perfect entry short today. Had hardly any drawdown. Target was low hanging fruit. As price went down, I got greedy and pyramided down. Got even more greedy thinking price was moving past my low hanging fruit so took out my take profit limit. Price ended up bouncing off my low hanging fruit limit and moving against me to auto liquidate my positions and blow my account. Feels bad. The model is great when disciplined to stay the course. I have more to learn. Will continue moving through this mentorship series and might get back into the market if the conversation with the wife doesn’t kill me
