English: I'm a metal head Japanese: It is apparent that I do indeed possess a cranium made primarily of metal, which is a type of element on the periodic table.
For the Japanese dub of this show, they for some reason decided to hire some of the highest billing VAs in Anime to do the voices. Donkey Kong is voiced by Koichi Yamadera who is mostly known for a lot but mainly Spike from Cowboy Bebop and Diddy Kong is voiced by Megumi Hayashibara who is also known for a lot but mainly Rei from Neon Genesis and Faye from Cowboy Bebop. @@AiGeneratedWaluigi It doesn't work that way, in English for a lot of describing words you can just put two words together as they are but in Japanese you can't.
@@MadContendery It doesn't work like that, saying metalhead in katakana means nothing people would just assume its the name of a film or game, they would have no context as to what it means Katakana used in Japanese don't necessarily translate the same back to a foreign language: like how the word mansion マンション means apartment or ズボン zubon means trousers/pants

Diddy is slightly more tolerable in this one, probably since his VA here, Megumi Hayashibara, can actually sing. But it still isn't great. Kouichi Yamadera, while he may be no Sterling Jarvis, still does a great job - even when in character.
Well at least Diddy's voice isn't as bad as it is in the American version. However Donkey Kong's voice is not nearly as good as it is in the American version.

the voice of diddy is also the voice of Rei Ayanami from evangelion
