    O V,
    With all due respect, there were three errors...1) Forgotten open orders 2) Adding to the mistaken & losing trade 3) Not exiting on the "gift" at break even or better. While I understand, with your experience and I suppose a large account size, the reasons for averaging in. However, these risk management mistakes blow up small traders every day. Thanks for sharing!

    I don’t get tired of watching this video. It’s amazing what happened while you were talking to your students. But more amazing what happened next with your open operations. Hi Oliver,
    I'm a great fan of your work! Just want to point out something that I see here. That 2nd big red bar to me seems to be the completion of a 2 legged pull back downwards along a steep(not gradual) bull trend line(or moving average in your case). From what I've learned it's a pattern that almost always pushes a stock higher. It can be a very deceptive trap for traders going short. Do you also look at 2 legged pullbacks the same way that I've learned? I'm still learning and I'd love to have you make a video on two legged pullbacks! Would love to have another expert opinion on this? Please! 🙏

    Hi Oliver any particular reason you use the 2 minute candle rather than the 1 minute candle?

    • @OliverVelezTrading
      @OliverVelezTrading  5 лет назад

      1 minute is way too noisy. I recommend all my traders to start their life in the 2m, as it allows for them to get in and out of trades more frequently to build experience faster, but is also clean enough to find high-odds opportunities, at least in the stock market. For other markets such as forex, I wouldn't recommend for you to trade anything lower than the 5m. Boom!

    Assuming you had around 7500 shares roughly (calculating back) and kept the SHORT until today May 21, 2019 it would have been a $186,000 gain ... if we could only see the future.
    My tip of the week, never leave the curser of your mouse over the BUY/SELL button ready for the trade you want to take. A bump of the mouse by accident puts you in a trade.

    I am only a month old in intraday trading. I was on the verge of giving up but thats when I came across you. I am going in again.
    Infact when I first started training I had actually came across your videos but shut it down immediately as you weren't talking about fancy indicators. Now after a month and burnt some fingers, am back to only using the basics i.e. candlesticks, volume, sma! Greetings from India Oliver!
