Sexton did a I'm gonna win or crash. He threw all caution to the wind. Was amazing. Was like watching your cat get the zoomies. If he can do that next week, I'll be shocked. That was special.
I highly doubt he will ever have another ride like that without crashing. He almost crashed every other lap during this dream ride.
@@goldsbym No joke. He would be at least a 2 time champ by now. Instead, we all know he backed into his first one. Was lucky to get it. How he didn't crash on the hangtown run was only by the grace of God. And I love the guy. Seems to be a great person. I'm just always waiting for him to crash.
Chase is in the best shape in my opinion. He was getting stronger and everyone else was fading. If you look at him just after the moto he's barely sweating. He could have probably done another 20 minutes at that pace.
What do you think of KTM going to davey Coombs about changing the section that jett crashed on. He was the only one jumping it in practice and qualifying. And KTM did not like that, so they changed it before the race.

Chase came off the track at Southwick last year wasnt out of breath or anything i was amazed.
@@joenobody2580 . These guys are seriously freaks of fitness. That track was hot , dusty and incredibly bumpy. Most athletes would be amazed how exhausted they would be after one lap . I consider these guys some of the toughest athletes in the world.
Dude I was sitting next to the rollers and it was crazy how much faster sexton went through there. Sexton was on a mission! Was bummed to not see a battle between Jett and him but the races were amazing!

been saying it for a few years now... Jett is the perfect mix of David Bailey's incredibly creative finesse... and Rick Johnson's strong driving style of, "i'm just gonna make it happen".
Kitchen's riding style is like a lovechild of Jason Anderson and Jett.

Chase has always been fast, Jett is just faster. This time when Chase got to AP, Jett wasn't 30 seconds up the track! Chase smelled the proverbial blood in the water and it light a fire under him, obviously. That's the difference, IMHO.
Absolutely agree, Chase had the self belief to win. If he now has as much self belief as a healthy Jett, the battles will be epic!
Jett was down. Chase took advantage. Period. Nothing has changed. Jett will be back on top.
Deegan could easily run top 5 in 450 class on his 250. Villapoto as already proven 250 can be faster. Great job Johnny..

Chase Sexton had a Rare in the Zone with the Flow Dream Ride. Very hard to repeat a ride like that.
This season will be great. In the 450 standings position 3 to 9 are all in the 60 something points.
Not to mention the 250 where there are so many fast riders.
Sexton was On fire. Interesting how the 2 fastest guys are going old school BMX style like #SuperMac.
Chase almost wrecked about 10 times, he got lucky and there was also some good riding involved. He can't sustain that ride speed without being somewhat out of control, where Jett can. By the time we get to Buds Creek things will turn around. You'll see.
I wouldn’t say that chase was the fastest last weekend at times. And Jett had a few close calls and has gotten lucky himself so he is pushing as well. Should be good racing with both getting a good start.

Because jett stuffed himself, chase had nothing to worry about..chase rode absolutely awesome💯.. I would like this season be about both chase and jett.. the two best rider’s

It seemed like Deeagn was carrying way more speed by railing around the outside corners. Maybe?

The deflection of a cantliver bean is δB = F L3 / (3 E I) . For two beams same L,W, and H but one Al and the other steel and same applied force. F,L and I are the same for each beam. E for steel is more that 2X the value therefore the deflection(flex) is less for steel than Aluminum. Any flex in a frame is sucking energy and equates to loss of energy in performance. The KTM frame is designed with steel to make it much stiffer and reduce flex when compared with an aluminum frame.
Completely bogus gibberish 😂 The AL frames are waaaay stiffer because the aluminum has a monster beam section away from the beams centerline. You are 100 percent wrong but throw out symbols like a kindergarten engineer…
Ride a high spec race BMX with a cro-mo frame and then an alloy or carbon frame bmx and I guarantee 99% of people will prefer the cro-mo bike due to how smooth it feels due to the flex in the frame...just adding to what you're saying regarding the KTMs steel frame.

Yes a steel frame flexes more but that new style frame was so ridged it didn’t flex at all or have any benefits over Ali, I hope this 25 is a lot better for customers. Also I always think chases rear end is very weird, tall for a ktm and bouncy like he’s running a longer shock / spring, I’ve never seen herlings, toms, or plessengers bike that or so loose in the rear, just my observation, I thought he liked a neutral, dead feeling rear, never the less he was pushing and limit for 30 mins amazing ride. Just what him and ktm needed

Steel doesn't flex more than Aluminum. Basic Material Science!
Advanced material science proves that chromoly steel alloys can flex more before fatiguing. Aluminum frames are designed to be more rigid because of that fact.
Wrong… the Al frames have huge geometric rigidity because of the massive material placed away from the centerline of the beam. There is much more going on than simple material science.
If chase was going that fast, imagine how fast Jett would have been. 😱

I just watched the qualifying replay, it appeared that the track crew took down the lip of the take off, was Jett aware that they did those changes? Maybe thats why he cased front tire first into the landing. Maybe James Stewart paid the track crew to sabotage all of Jetts fast lines, protecting his 24 - 0 win streak. HAHAHA

It was refreshing to finally see someone besides Jett win, however not the way I wanted to see it, I'd rather see Jett be beat straight up than be beaten bc he's reeling in pain from a crash... One can see the mind determination that CS4 has and he has shown that he isn't playing around... I will be convinced though once CS beats Jett straight up! Until then I'm gonna be skeptical on the whole deal. But... hell of a ride by CS4 regardless!

Jett took a footpeg to the back of his leg and had to get some stitches. Other than that he also has some nasty bruising.

Perfect race day, Haiden wins overall, Jett goes down, Sexton beats the other brother and goes last to first. So much cheering in our house during the races. :)
Jett was quicker than everyone as usual. They went to ktm tent and they complained about it. Went to Honda truck and said we are changing the track because it's unsafe. Jett said F u and sent it first lap and axed himself. Poor judgement? Maybe but they had to slow him down somehow.. chase wins by default. Every American rejoicing because they are 24 and 1
Track crew changed the section after Jett’s face plant…what are talking about. Jett didn’t need to jump what he tried. He’ll learn though. It wasn’t smart of him leading the race already.

Assuming chase finishes second in every race he doesnt win, and assuming the same for jet.
Jet has to win the next 14/18 races and he gets the title by 3 points.

Chase was on a mission, but such bullshit that Jett was faster than everyone including Chase once again by being better in certain sections. So what do they do, they remove it to make a closer race or betting, either way they remove it. Jett still goes for it and gets hurt! Let them race the track as is from qualifying!!
I can not believe you guy's fell for what happened, after qualifying they cut the track where Jett was killing them all. Doing a triple when all others doing double single. They cut the top off, so Jett could not do that. Then they said they changed it after the crash. But no they did not!!! They then said today they changed it after qualifying. They set Jett up sorry peeps. Chace is good but not good enough, so they did what they did. Go back and look at qualifying then the first moto. Jet was easily doing the triple and not even close on the moto. It was a moto sports hit on Jett!!!

Sometimes when you're watching the sport really pay attention to what's being said especially if something bad happens. Just go back to practice watch how jet was doing it watch how they even talked about it and then when it comes to the race doesn't even come close. Chase got his victory all the excitement and Motocross now because they said it was going to be such a boring season. All I'm saying is you really got to pay attention to what's being said and listen to the contradictions when they're saying it.

Even the best rider in the world should not get past maybe 8th place in a come from the back charge. This shows that the top 10 aren't pushing mid race like they should. Too much coasting, passing time to put on a charge at the end to get those last couple of passes. If you want to win you go 99% the entire moto. If Chase did the same from the front he would have lapped almost every rider and that should never ever happen.
