- In this Video I will show you how to install Chrom or Stainless Steel Rings into your Cluster.
You need a Torx 8 or Torx 10 and a slot screwdriver.
You need around 20 Minutes + Time to remove the cluster + Time to let the glue dry.
In another Video I will show you how to remove the cluster.

Ich habe eine Frage zum Tacho, jetzt wo ich die große MFA sehe. Was wird benötigt, wenn ich von einem 2000er Golf 4 mit Motometer Tacho und Midline MFA auf z.B einen SE Tacho mit großer MFA umrüsten wöllte?
Ganz einfach: Ein SE Tacho :D
Und VCDS o.ä.

@@Golf4org Ich bräuchte doch theoretisch einen SE Tacho von einem 1.4er, da die Ziffernblätter unterschiedlich sind oder kalibrieren die sich selbst? Mein aktueller Tacho hat IMMO2, kann man das problemlos auf IMMO3 umrüsten?

Hallo, kann ich das Tacho einfach ausbauen und im Anschluss wieder ohne probleme einbauen? Oder kann es dann passieren das ich irgendwelche probleme mit der Wegfahrsperre etc. bekomme? Lg
Mit dem selben Tacho ist das kein Problem. Ohne Tacho aber Zündung aus lassen!

Allerdings nur zwei Ringe, ohne die zwei anderen Rahmen und nicht polliert, sondern gebürstet.

Did you turned on the ignition while the cluster was removed?
I had to close the windows while I took the unit inside to clean it.
Bad Idea, if you need to close the windows, better use the key in the door lock method. Delete the fault codes in the Airbag Control Unit and the light should be gone.
Diese Ringe kann man sowieso vergessen... die sind nie 100% Passgenau, und besonders nicht die von Ebay.

@@Golf4org Is it necessary to calibrate the board to correctly indicate the speed?
You need to place the needles on to the correct position after you removed them. VCDS got a feature in German called Stellglieddiagnose where it moves the needles to 3000, 90°C, 1/2 Fuel and 100 km/h.
