The point of showing the video twice is to give the viewer a different perspective. The first time, we view Wren as the good guy, avenging his dog. Then, Wren starts to take all of the armor until he aquires the last piece, the helmet, after the "villian" dies. Then, Wren teleports back in time, right above the dog. The second time through you see that the "villian" is trying to take off the mask to show the "good guy Wren" that he is in fact the same person. Good Guy Wren then seeks vengance and ultimately ends up killing Bad Guy Wren... And the paradox continues

@@DuhSlayerr I’m only seeing this now because I’m good through all of their videos from the beginning on the Crew Channel. And when I started this I also saw the armored wren as good guy wren. One is avenging his dog, the other is trying to live because he’s seen his own dog die and knows the outcome. Loop wise? Knowing these guys? They probably thought “no one will ask questions, it’s RUclips” lmao but the top comment is literally about the loop. Hope you’re alive 6 years later and can see this. And I hope your loop turned out well and you’re living life rad. Much love homie.

You're assuming the cycle has a beginning. If the cycle is continuous, as shown in the video, then there can never be an "end". So, if the cycle stretches to infinity on one end, then who's to say it doesn't on the other. It just is, always has and always will be. That's one way to look at it.

I love the top-down stop motion videos so much. If I had the equipment that's all I would do all day.
All you need is a camera and any random things you can get hand on plus a video editor program. What they did in here is super simple for the most part, just very time consuming.
have a camera? it's just pictures. you don't need all the lighting and everything.
The lighting is not even that fancy/esthetic on this one and it's still amazing. Grab your phone and shoot them pictures!!

He gets that it is a time loop, but they could have ended it with the guy teleporting into the room. It would have had a larger effect, they didn't have to show us the fight twice.
+Xander Brooks not really, most people watched the guy in the blue shirt in the first loop. The key however is to realize that the helmet is what you watch to tell who is who until the one guy gets eaten and then thats when it switches.

I liked it twice, most other people are just complaining like "OH MAH GOD DEY JUST WUNT MOR MUNEY" or that it just wasn't necessary, and looping it makes it so that you don't have to manually restart the video too

yeah, when i watched this, i spent the first run rooting for the one who lost his dog, i watched his perspective the whole run, then the loop occurred and i was watching the armored one, rooting for him.
If you complain about the Double-Loop, Here's a Tip: Don't watch the second loop.

After watching Tenet the scene where the Protagonist fights himself really reminds me of this video now, especially with how we watch the loop twice and on each loop follow a different version of Wren.

I think the loop was a very nice addition. Watching the beginning, I thought the armored guy was trying to attack him (Wren), but when the loop happened It made me look at the scene at a different angle, and I enjoyed it. Props to Sam and Niko for making such great videos.
I remember watching this years ago, still as impressed today.

I get that it's a timeloop, but why repeat the loop twice in full? Had it just ended on Wren entering the room via the portal, killing the dog and then end most people would have gotten the concept.
The way it played out with two full loops is that I expected some sort of twist in the end, which I didn't get, causing me to be a bit disappointed.
Not saying that the video is bad, it really isn't. But small details like that might be worth a second (or third, or fourth) thought.
The whole point of looping it twice was because the viewer was watching blue shirt's actions, then the second time around you watch helmet guy's actions. Unless your peripheral vision is so godlike that you're able to watch both actors at the same time in full detail, then by all means complain.
Stupid idea, people have the mental capacity to understand the concept and get the idea the first time around, not to mention pay attention to both of them at the same time... This coming from a drunk guy.
I actually like both your guys ideas.
On the one hand, having the exact same scene loop once entirely is kind of weird. But Because of the way the scene is introduced you do sympathise with the shirt guy on the first run. Then you get the second one and the soldier suddenly has become the protagonist.
It's really clever, but the set-up makes you expect a change that never comes. Him trying to avoid the dog or avoid messing up the gravity switch.
I think that change of perspective and sympathy without changing the scene was the real purpose here -and it worked perfectly - but it still is a bit awkward.
Longer video earns more money.
Go watch Shutter Island twice, then you'll realize the genius of this.

Hey Corridor! Loved the video. If I could, I just wanted to make a quick comment about the content. I really loved the video, but I felt that it should have either stopped when it started looping the second time, or something should have changed the second time around. We understood that the video looped. The second part wasn't needed.

+Pivitrix they worked extremely hard on this and the amount of revenue they gained from this short 3 minute video is very small compared to the time spent doing it. It would have been even less revenue if they made it only 1 minute and less people would have clicked on the video

No shit but the video could still have been three minutes if they had just put in 1 minute of behind the making in the end, the stop motion in one round is already two minutes alone.
But this way you naturally focus on one guy then the other, that way you get the full experience.

I whatched this video years ago, and it's the first time i knew Corridor. But until last two years i start editing for class's assignment and then feeling interested in creating video, i became a fan of Corridor crew. This work's very excited but also exhausted
So many paradoxes. Like how as long as you don't let the future of you becoming the person that kills your dog happen, it won't happen. Also that paradox of something appearing out of nowhere it was just there.
