Fun Fact: The Lego Movie actually never used stop motion, but was specifically animated too look like it did. Bricks and minifigures moved in ways that were possible in real life, giving it a home-made feel
Fun fact: The Lego Movie’s credit role was actually animated with Stop-motion animation. But the rest of the movie was definitely digital animation. But how awesome would it be if LAIKA Studios did make a movie with Lego Stop-motion! I’d kill to see that!

Btw I'd recommend using an animation trick called easing in and out. It's where when something/somebody moves, the movement starts slowly and speeds up in the middle of the movement and then slows back down again at the end of the movement like real life. But if somebody is landing a punch or hitting the ground, then the movement crashes and doesn't slow down at the end.
Have always loved your videos, just posted my first one in over 10 years and excited to get back into animation!
Also a Protip for the lightsaber igniting animation: if you have the twirly blue transparent iron man Beam bar, use that after using the cylinder peices, and its now more cool!

i'd say my favorite part was spiderman litterally hitting the griddy but my favorite stop motion was the scene of commander sausage fighting the clones.

Use some easing in and out next time.

The Darth vader battle with seargent sausage reminds me of a mix between pink! pow! Kaboom! from pink panther and pals, the dreamy Mario battle from Mario and Luigi: dream team, and the ultimate heist battle with Ben and albedo in ben 10: omniverse and that is why it is my favorite animation from this video forever and ever. Nothing can outmatch this masterpiece… =D

Dude, my favorite was one Sergeant sausage was beating up all the storm troopers. That shit was awesome. I keep telling my son he should get into this kind of stuff because he’s got all the tech to do it but he’d rather just play video games.
