Nice to see that they both are loved and win or lose, they are both amazing and arguably the strongest characters in all of fiction. Real characters by the way, not surreal and abstract ones like Xeno or The One Above All. Real history, real development and struggle. Different kinds of struggle, but still struggle. I think there was a moment where Superman did a sort of Kaioken when he envelops a red aura around him somewhere, and one of his Kryptonian martial arts are pretty much similar to Ultra Instinct years ago since Post-Crisis, if we want to be technical. And I thought it was Goku Black vs Ultraman since they're both evil versions of themselves moreso than Injustice Superman.
Try Hard DB fans wont admit this fight nor they will cause of how much forms goku has won't be enough to Superman. Plus Goku does not kill unless he's given no choice of reasons Frieza Majin Buu (Kid) Moro Gas Demigra Omega Shenron Mira Fu Demon Piccolo But Superman can chose to not kill either way.
Death Battle rules make it so that both of them doesn't have much morals Though while yes Base To Base Goku can't beat Superman, Infinite Frontier against CC and Goku still lose I'm just really glad this one didn't butcher Goku or Superman characters
My big problems has always been more in how the first two Death Battles made it seem like Goku would have no shot even in a sparring match, with how they described the verdict, the second one was a massive slap in the face with the whole "disintegrate his brain" ending (even Superman fans hated that one.) I won't deny that Goku is most likely going to lose in a battle to the death since Superman is insanely durable (I don't like Superman as a character, but I can't deny he has some pretty good actual feats, not the embellished ones Death Battle loved to sing praises of,) but anyone who thinks one is going to "dominate" the other one-sidedly is just kidding themselves (and I mean that both ways, both fandoms are too protective of their golden boy.) This is definitely a much better Death Battle ending with the two being all friendly in the end because you know what, that's just how the two would be... Well the universe destruction aside 😂.
Eh, it probably won't do well in DB fandom eyes Gohan likely first appearance prob gonna be Invincible though I do think his best matchup is Ultraman Zero
