I have this exact trim and color and year. The 1.5 is no speed demon but I drive it going up the freeway and have no trouble merging and passing. 170 HP look weak on paper, but on the road it’s adequate. We are happy with our Nox.
The performance is mediocre at best, and around close to 10 seconds 0-60 depending on elevation, climate. Performance is not everything, but Ford absolutely destroys GM on engineering, reliability, and performance, against any competitors, with turbo charged motors. This is overpriced, and underpowered, and has had reliability issues. I am not a fan at all.
Recently I've been watching a lot of videos on small SUV's due to wanting one. I must say that your video is the best. Your presentation is great and you stick to just the necessary stuff. It has helped with me making a choice. Thanks
I loved everything about this SUV except that the fuel tank does not lock. I worry about pranksters putting stuff in my tank. Then I couldn’t find a cap that locks to counter this. This one thing kept me from buying it. That’s it.
It’s ridiculously easy to pop open a locked gas door. This car uses a cap less fuel door. You can not put anything in the tank easily without the adapter.
Do people really believe that a little 1.5 that's being overworked buy a turbo is actually going to hold up long-term. I highly doubt it... Video well-done however n thanks
Why did you put the car in L when you got on the highway? I have no interest in L, I want to see the car in D on the highway. That makes me think the car does not have enough power for highway driving, so you just talked me out of buying the Equinox.
I just leased a 2022 Equinox Lt. last week. It’s the second Equinox in a row I’ve leased. Great car, no complaints .
