Thanks for the information. The glass can be cleaned with wood ash, it is a little abrasive but will remove the blackened buildup quite well.

That’s like the smoker I use for my jerky making process except mine is Bluetooth controlled. 👍😁 I use apple cider vinegar to clean it with.

The funny thing is, it never bothered me because I never looked in. Then my wife cleaned it and, I kinda like it. Until it gets dirty again and then I won't care :)

I have this smoker. I find it super easy to clean the glass with a razor blade. just spray some water or vinegar to loosen it up then use a razor blade. it will come out clear again.

If it's molded should I throw away? 😊

I find the easiest way to clean my smoker when its looking really rough is paste made of baking soda and vinegar, paint it on with a brush and let it sit for about an hour and then wipe it up with a throw away towel.

My mom used to use that same method on our old oven when I was young :)

Not criticism but I never got this, you're mixing an acid with a base. Essentially cancelling each other out.
Meat fat is acidic so a weak base on its own would be better. Sodium bicarb, bleach or ammonia based cleaners.
