I'm actually not mad at how they did Aizen. They freed up a roster slot by fitting everything they could into this one model. Really good work to the devs & nice breakdown 🔥
@@MarcusPhoton appreciate the love bro 🙏🏾 and I completely agree, this is the best way to have done Aizen. I didn’t expect to play as him but having Shikai may have changed my mind 🥹
I'm like 78% sure we're gonna be able to play as his monster form because if you looke at the description of his hogyoku fusion level it says maximum of 5. We know that his base form is hogyoku fusion level 1 and before awakening, he can reach up to hogyoku fusion level 2 which is his condom form. Then in his condom (level 2) form he can awaken when his fighting spirit gauge is maxed out. His awakening is his hogyoku fusion level 3 (long haired) and from there he needs to die whilst having his fighting spirit gauge maxed out to reawaken into his hogyoku fusion level 4 form (butterflyzen). And because the hogyoku fusion level has a maximum of 5 levels and we know that he can progress to level 2 from base without awakening, we can say for certain that during his reawakening he can also progress to level 5 like he does from 1 to 2, and level 5 will be his monster form.
@@Sanji_Vinsmoke_69 I see what you’re saying & someone else made that comment. I intially thought the same thing but then I looked at everything in his battle data to get a better sense of what they are explaining. Even to his second stage, it has nothing to do with his fusion level being at a certain amount. It’s everything regarding his fighting guage. One of his stages I believe makes the level go back to 0 but it doesn’t have anything to do with how he transforms. It’s all fighting guage according to the website. I read it back to myself several times because it was 4 am when it came out. The hogyoku fusion ability specifically says it’s to enhance his performance. His awakening mentioned he can get stronger but it means stats boost through transformation & by having a high hogyuko level. I don’t mind being incorrect or healthy debate but I’m like 99.9% on this. 🙏🏾

Same here. I really thought we’d get more of Kyouka Suigetsu than a negation at the start of battle. Cool gimmick but wish there was more. Maybe they’ll surprise us & add something into one of his combos like his quick step attack or something
To me the way Kyoka Suigetsu is described, it feels like an automatic state the character is in from the start of the match and causes him to have 0 Reverse Meter until the first Kikon move hits. It's only after that point the Reverse Meter will be able to be built up.
@@sharogengaming7716 you make a good point. I would LOVE it to be something we can activate but yeah I’m leaning that it is likely something that is automatic.

I thought we were going to have him using Kyokat Suigetsu ior his first variant and then his Hogyoku powers in his second starting with his condom form. Im really glad we're actually able to use his monster form though. But from the actions features Aizen does use his shikai to cancel out a kikon move for free. @@Sanji_Vinsmoke_69 yeah I noticed they mentioned he has KS at the beginning. I’m wondering if they let him keep it the whole way or if he discards it like he did when he evolved. All characters transform with their fighting spirit guage, including Aizen. The mention of fusion & number or transformation I think is making everyone associate that ability with his transformation. I like that they make him more powerful as time increases. I definitely think Tosen will get another variant but just a little shaky with how this roster is looking (smaller than I imagined)
@@SaintIrving From what the website says "at the start of the battle" I would assume that as soon as he transforms into his hogyoku level 2 stage he loses his Kyota Suigetsu ability because if he keeps it all the way through then there's no need to mention "at the start of the battle"
@@Sanji_Vinsmoke_69 bruuhh exactly! I was thinking since he discarded his KS once he evolved, they made it canon for the game & discard it once he evolves. @@SaintIrving Unfortunately I dont think we can choose to keep Aizen in base cos it says the fusion level is automatic and his second form will transition after a certain period of time passes which I assume its also automatic. One thing I'm certain of is that the signature and both spiritual pressure moves stay the same during base and awakening. I cant say for sure with reawakening as we havent seen almost anything yet but that's also what makes me so interested in how they will handle characters with vastly different fight styles such as zommari in base vs resurrection.
idk if I've said this but I really like how they implemented (almost) all of his transformations as well as implementing Kyoka Suigetsu all into one character instead of splitting them into multiple variants and making us pick and chose which one to play. Something that concerns me is that they may not include every single one of the espada as playable characters. They really should, we've had all of them playable before in other games but I feel like if the espada definitely warrant a place on the playable roster if characters like Rangiku and Izuru are playable. It'd also be such a shame if characters with very unique movesets that drastically differ between pre-awakening and awakening like Zommari isn't playable cos I want to see how the devs handle such characters.
Agreed! I can see why Rangiku & Izuru were added since i feel they along with Momo are all important to the story in some way but I think Espada 7-9 aren’t looking so good for the roster. 7 is much more likely but even when them releasing one character this week, unless they start ramping it up, we are getting 30-35 max. @@Anthonydavis65 definitely agree! They hide more in Aizen’s trailer than most. We didn’t get to see his KS in action nor the move that causes a shockwave.
