Nice brush playing as always. I’m curious Ryan - Do you always prefer mid tuning for brushes? Is that your aesthetic (or objective) sweet spot, or does it depend on snare and head?
@@MattMurphyMusicTeacher it's mostly just because that's where I hear most brush playing on records - in the medium to high range. Down low gets kind of mushy, and too high gets a little thin sounding IMO
