Sorry, correct me if I'm wrong but you keep saying mega byte per second. You're talking about mega bit per second though. This video could cause some confusion.
the main problem is not speed, is latency, when you have a 5mbps conection probably you have a copper conection instead of fiber, and yes, you can use mobile data and have 100mbps buy latency is not less than 50ms, and it is very noticeable whe you are in cloud gaming
Cool video, just what I wanted to know. I'll be getting 150Mbpis internet in a few weeks, and I wanted to see how well it would perform with that kind of internet.
It is working for me with 3 mbps speed, playable but quality meh.All while using VPN from unsupported country so this video is also ,needs to be updated
@@saenz6944 I mean sure, but I live out in the woods with not that great of internet speed available, so the fact that what, in today's world, would be considered low (10 mbps), could actually work. That is nice!
Tell google to start stadia in my country first! Plus the available cloud gaming platforms sucks, i can’t play at even 40 mbps speed, some of them even requires 100mbps speed😅
I would assume upload speed isn't much of a problem? Since games mostly use UDP and you don't need to Acknowledge if they're received or not? Just a theory
In stadia upload matters. Because the ack bit is not the only thing which is sent. You have to send every control instruction at 60 packets per second. And of course, ping matters a lot
I have a 300mbps download speed with 21 mbps upload. I still experience lag in some games but others work fine. Is that just a bad port of the game or is that my connection?
The problem is game streaming is not just a fixed video. It's a continuous stream so it requires more bandwidth and better download and upload speeds. Even for Netflix 4k they require 25mbps
What ur forgetting to mention here by looks of the lag ur playing over wi fi if u play on cable u should have no connection lag I play flawlessly on 70 mgbs bt wen I had it with cable connection I could use any other device but it was flawless now I’m on 350 virgin and it’s seemless like I forget I play on stadia

Yep that is my fault.. I always mix them up. It is Mega bit/s. Sorry everyone. Pinned.

Thank you very much. Your video helps me much. Now i know 100 mbps is good enough for stadia with no lags

10mbps good for these stadia games for single players, but for multiplayers, 100 Mbps isn't enough 🙁
Damn good job I have 500mbps WiFi

Even with my 40 mbps connection cloud gaming sucks
If u have 10mbps i recommend G force now, or boosteroid(probably the best cloud gaming) if you live in europe
First time I heard about Boosteroid, will check it out.

do not be late?
30MB for cloud gaming is ridiculous
10 Mbps looks and runs great to me.
Cool thx I looking to having it and I only have a 15mbps download so thx to say me that bro

But remember we dont know anything about the real latency his getting on 10mbps, I think 25 mbps would be a safer choice

Use a vpn like express vpn
Damm I barely get 3 most of the time I get kbps
He talks about megabytes but it´s really megabits. If yout internet is on kilobytes that means you have between 1 or 10 megabits per second
It was megabits all along...
Awesome.
keep up the good work
How do you change bandwidth speed?
Router
3:51 unrelated but how did they get permission to get steamworld heist? What in the world?
25mbps looks like 1-5mbps on phones/tablets for some reason.
25 Mbps = 3,125 MBps

bad port probably
Is your Internet 2.4ghz or 5? Both ways try an ether net connection. It also heavily depends on your ping.
well i'm getting 15mbps soon so yeah
It’s just a video playing in 4K or 1080p in your screen so you really don’t need 1gbps internet even 10 to 20mbps is amazing for 4K gaming .

I get 14mbps downloading speed and 7 mbps uploading speed?
It should work. The recommendation is 10 Mbps.

Wasnt there a big controversy on Stadia having input lag even on ridiculous speeds.
in my country ppl has 1gbps internet speed. when i saw that stadia required only 10mbs i was shocked
Ok, nice job, but your whole test is busted. Run on 720. You didn't think this through. Bad play.
No, stadia does downgrade on resolution to play on low speeds. 4k is automatic on high speed and screen resolution
Would be nice to know what reserlution you are using I've crap internet and run at 720p with lows of KBS but at 1 mBs I run pretty good
I haven't touched the settings in the games, my monitor runs on a native resolution of 1440p.
What about 8 will that work
Them minimum recommend speed by google is 10. It might still work with 8 as well but you will experience some lag.
