Rick, that Cobb is outrageous! I think it’s his best looking card too. I’d love to get the Jack Johnson from that set, all the cards in that set are just incredible. Yours’ has perfect color and registration, dynamite! The other cards you picked up are pretty awesome too, great stuff bud.

That Mathewson/McGraw is a stellar pickup! I saw that there's one on REA going right now as well. They had such a strong relationship, but were very different in personality from one another.

All I can say is Wow! You went for the big boy cards of the Tabacalera with the Ruth and McGraw, Matty. I just picked up the Pennock, Mathews taken during the 1927 WS on Lelands and already owned the Cardinal and Washington team cards. Love that Cobb! Did you sell the 1915 Cracker Jack Shotten?
I'm doing well except for this awful sinus problem I got from cleaning out my parents old dusty bedroom. You don't know how much stuff you have until someone is gone. Neat finds Rick.
Great pick-up Rick! Been trying to find the T227 Cobb for a while now but have not been able to pull the trigger...or it's been pulled for me.🤣 Congrats on another Gorgeous card. I don't really care for the Beggars chocolate stamps. My thumbnail is bigger. Maybe I need one?
I like to speculate (most likely incorrectly) that the 25th card was going to be Ray Harroun, who won the first Indianapolis 500 the year prior. Probably wrong, but I can speculate. Two other auto drivers are in the T227 set, but they were both also in the T36 set (Harroun was not). The T227 David Bruce Brown is my ultimate grail card, but I will never own it.
