Hey 👋🏿, no particular reason besides the fact that each put has a particular look and purpose. For this specific scene I assumed this lut was appropriate for this scene. I also wanted to show how to import luts into Davinci Resolve for iPads
It was not shown how Color Management was set, but it is strange when Input color space in IDT you chose DV WG Intermediate and not Canon C-log. Without showing Color Management, it makes no sense to me. I can understand 709 output color space before Lut. Copying data from another source also does not reflect natural workflow nad can be not clerly for beginners
Hey I apologize for any confusion. This was to show how Resolve for iPad holds up compared to the studio desktop version. I couldn’t find the color management tab you typically see on the computer but CST is the same solution. I have a much simpler video where I use the application for the first time that uses C Log that you may want to check out, . Also DV WG could be used to replace log , it really depends on which direction you want to take the footage.
@@KeithCherilus561 in IDT we take camera colour space and convert to timeline colour space eventually straight to display colour space. Here its look like you converted timeline colour space to display colour space. Why I feel is missing conversion from camera colour space to display colour space. Are you able to create outside nodes on the ipad, without a keyboard. I know you can use a shortcut but i was wondering if there is a native way. When i do it i only see add serial, add parallel, and add layer
You can manually adjust your footage using the "Camera Raw" page in the Color Tab. Make sure it's an actual RAW file and not a compressed video format or it will be grayed out. If you're having a hard time locating it, it should be the very first page with the picture of a camera in front of it
@@KeithCherilus561 thank you. I meant to ask how to do this using the ipad pro. Can I work with the raw files on the ipad or is that only limited to desktop? IF so can I start the project in raw on the desktop and continue on the ipad?
@@deviate.2651 oh lol sorry. Short answer is no Resolve for iPad hasn’t rolled out that feature yet. Hopefully in the near future it will. You can start on the desktop and export it as a uncompressed ProRes and then edit on the iPad

I once had the a6000, I love that camera but I don’t recall it having any log features or a color profile so tbh I’d skip the color space transformation or manually do the saturation and contrast
Oh that is good to know thank you! Seems like the color space really transforms the video by a lot though so that seems like a bummer to not have. I guess I just need to play with my camera more and learn all the jargon 😅
@@rav_666_ yeah it does change the video by a lot, but mind you the videos are really greyed out and aren’t ready for broadcasting that’s why. Hello friend. I installed DaVInci Resolve 18 on my iPad Pro 12.9 but, in the COLOR tab, when I click on EFFECTS (FX), the LIBRARY with the effects does not open. Do you know what it could be? Thanks!
