This! Balance is key. I always thought school is that first stepping stone for a career. And a career is a stepping stone to living the life you want. So it is okay to pass your classes just enough to be deemed valuable by your first employer. After the first employer, nobody looks at your school or accolades anymore. It is all about your ability to understand the industry you chose and what you can contribute that makes you a valuable hire. But also, at the end of the day, the bigger picture is that a job pays your bills and supports the lifestyle you want. So having a clear picture of what life you want will dictate the rest.

Let me start my saying, I’m incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved. That being said, your self worth is MORE than any of those achievements combined. If you get tired of writing like you’re running out of time, it’s ok, you are still worthy of love, respect, and pride
That was me till my senior year when I realized I wasn’t doing any of it for me but for my parents who didn’t even love me. Went down gpa to 3.0 and dropped all the boring stuff to focus on my happiness
I'm going through the same thing now. I used to be this perfect A+ student, who was on track to get a 90+ ATAR (Top 10% of students in Australia) and then I just snapped. Realised that all of this was just so I could keep my mother's shallow love. I changed my entire VCE plan (Basically year 11 and 12) from majoring in the sciences, to taking TAFE certificates in Makeup, Fashion and Art. My mum refuses to have nothing to do with my education, and I'm expected to pay my own way as soon as I'm 18. I'm so so terrified and feel so alone but whenever I do my art, I feel dizzy from happiness. I'm really sorry for the vent, but do you have any advice?
It's so sad how you remind me so much of my sister everytime there's something going on in our school(something like event or intrams) she always joins I don't even know if she's happy of it or not, I even tell myself I want to be a nurse or a doctor when I grow up then I would ask her what she wants to be when she grows up her answer would always be "I don't know" It's like she doesn't know what will happen when she grows Its just all up to fate....
Guys I’m a try hard in school as well, but this is too much. You only need maybe two of the awards to set you apart from others. Colleges would accept you even without half of those achievements and work places don’t care about them. You’re just wasting your time so you could act like you’re better then everyone else, trust me. All you need are good grades and the rest will fall into place.
Wtf are u saying her achievements are too much? 💀 she worked for it let her have it for godsake. The better ur scores the better the college and job u get stop hating and move on.
@ exactly, the better your scores. The rest doesn’t matter 🤷♀️ also I’m letting her have her achievements, I’m just saying, giving up your childhood and life when kids who do the bare minimum achieve the same end goal is a sad way to live
@Avee21 ur comment is really backhanded, just let her have her moment, why undermine her to make others feel better? If u hv good scores and more achievements u can get good scholarships and into good colleges and pave ur way thru life, work the best u can not that u hv to be on top tho. Also it's a proud moment for her to see all that she'saccomplished and worked for, nobody has to prove stuff to anyone but themselves
If you went to a good college and you actually have a job that's useful like something in medical, people want to see it all the time bc they want proof of your schooling
So glad you made it this far, while its important to maintain balance in your life to give some time to fun and friendships, your parents would be so proud of all your achievements ❤
The first thought that came to mind was "I hope she's actually happy." I was an honor student in my childhood, and some time when sht hit the fan I stopped getting awards and all that. It was a painful process to realize my identity and self worth was centered on my intellect, and when I didn't have the concrete validations from that anymore, I was a heckin mess and it was so hard to find happiness and confidence outside of academics. I'm better now but I wish I didn't focus too much on things that didn't really matter in the long run.
On one side, yes you go I am so happy for you, you should be proud of how far you've come, your talents, skills, and the time and effort you've put into it. On the other hand, girl, I am begging you to breathe properly.
It amazes me how most of us could never imagine how someone could actually be happy with a lifestyle like this. Its sort of like people that cant believe there are women that truly dont want kids, yet here we are. I hope she is try happy
As I'm really proud of this person don't compare your self to them because we are all different and smart in our own way and some very successful people didn't even go to college or finish high school and I'm really proud of you even if you think you haven't accomplished anything BYEEE LOVE YOU POOKIES 🪿👹🌸✨😜🌊🏄♀️🦄💗
I love the you cared that much to get involved, that's a beautiful character trait. You're an outstanding example of making the most of your time. May your life be filled with many rich blessings 💖
Was about to say, then she went into trade. I was like her when I was younger, but now that I’m almost 30 I realize no one actually cares about these types of awards. I’ve never had a job ask me anything about high school, they barely asked me about my college education. In fact, it was my three month internship that got me thrown into a TSM management position MAKING ALMOST 30 AN HOUR. 😂
Hard work really does pay off, and congratulations on everything you worked hard to get, and I hope the exhaustion as a high schooler pays off for your future
That’s so sad bc she’s gonna look back at her high school years and wish she had more fun. Especially growing up in Florida is SUCH a privilege. I didn’t realize how bad people’s quality of life was in other states until I moved out of Florida. I love being an educated person, BUT I loved going to the roller rink & sushi with my friends more.
People who are saying that its sad that she spent so much time on "useless" titles , all this is not required. Let me tell you something people who study with no purpose in life to them it might seem like a headache and that's fine you do you. But dont come on here and try to demotivate this absolute beast of a woman and tell her what she has accomplished is not going to be worth it. Hard work builds discipline , perseverance, patience which is absolutely going to be useful to her at her job APART from all those accomplishments.
I bet you she would struggle just as hard to find a job as anyone else and someone who failed school. Today no one hires and if they do they expect the most and i can almost garuntee that the majority of jobs that even SHE finds with high enough pay and narrow doors still wouldn't bring her in. So girl, don't blame yourself or feel bad if you have to wait months like the rest of us to find jobs. Because it's not you, it's today's work-life. Know and understand that you were already made perfect. Everyone is made perfect. And you don't need validation from others or even yourself to be perfect. You already are. The two most important things in life are love and joy. I hope all your previous hard work pays off, and if it doesn't, just know that there are several other people who have been in the same situation or similar. You don't need validation. You just need to live YOUR life to the fullest.
Honestly I think I’d rather have the social life. Having wealth when you’re older is nice but enjoying the prime time in your life with friends is something I value more
The more money you earn, the more time you have to spend with other people (provided it works out “best”). So many people have to work 2 jobs and have side hustles to get by. So, wealth gives freedom. I just met a man who had to leave his girlfriend at the hospital post-birth to go work. A bit more money would’ve meant way more support for his girlfriend and son. He could’ve been present. There. So
I’ll tell ya how much this shit matters. I hung out with everyone, knew everyone, played on a bunch of sports team, was at every party and still 2 years after high school I couldn’t tell ya who won a single award at our grad
So you were a typical jock. Yeah I know how most of those turned out after high school. This stuff may not matter to you but it's going to get her started on a much better path than the people who peaked in high school. 😂
@ wasent saying it’s not important or impressive for her, was just saying to everyone else if you ain’t in that position it’s not the end all be all. I’m currently at a high readiness unit in the Canadian army ready for deployment. I rig satellites on towers and run comms for start up bases around the world. But yah. Peaked in high school I guess
I don’t think she bases what “matters” off of which classmates remember her awards… I don’t think anyone determines their metrics of success based on what their former classmates will remember 🤧
@ I’m saying that if you don’t win these awards your life ain’t over. All media posts is about how much you need to be the best in each class. I know so many people doing amazing things that did not do well in school. That does not mean they did not try because you definitely should but don’t I’m saying don’t think because you are not any of the things she got you can’t make something of yourself
Let me tell you, as much as you learn and push yourself early on it pays back so so much later, but you cen't let school have your life, have as much fun as you can and let yourself be you during the best years of your life You got this gurl❤❤❤
So many people talking to make others who didn't achieve this feel better STOP it she worked hard let her enjoy it stop consoling yourself and comparing yourself and other just be happy if you can't do that scroll😊 welll done it takes a fighter to achieve this ❤ showcase it everyday nothing wrong with being an academic sis
@@user-btsot7engene Actually no, everyone else in the comments realizes that social media tends to push the best of the best like this to everyone’s feeds and they’re reminding us that we’re not a failure for not meeting this level excellence. If you find it so “brainless” for people to encourage students to be average and save themselves the stress, what does that say about you?
@frankieloinandgroin y do u think they're the best of the best? Cause they work for it, if others feel insecure cause a person is thriving then that should be checked out, try the best u can and ofc a personal life is imp, but just let the girl show off her hard work. Nowadays it's rarer for people to show academic achievements online and everything is abt influencers and fitness etc..even then there's a alot more normalizing going around than earlier. And my only point is stop undermining people who genuinely work for their achievements and just let the girl feel proud..
@@user-btsot7engene Your point is redundant. If you could comprehend my words, you’d know that I actually agree that the people in the comments section are definitely insecure. Yet despite that, they find a way to uplift each other up as a community and discourage sacrificing your personal life for your career. So like you said, they are getting “checked out” by each other. You feel threatened by a community who refuses to let others compare themselves to a stranger, so you call it “undermining her success.” If her pride was true, then she should she should have no issue with people reminding each other that her path will not guarantee happiness.

This kind of pressure can be so toxic, I hope she is okay
CONGRATULATIONS girl. You deserve it!
You're a 🌟
Let me start my saying, I’m incredibly proud of what you’ve achieved. That being said, your self worth is MORE than any of those achievements combined. If you get tired of writing like you’re running out of time, it’s ok, you are still worthy of love, respect, and pride
This girl is going places!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I’m So Impressed I am in middle school and I hope to get to that point already taking 8th grade sols in 6th grade!!!❤
I Hope and Know we can all get to that point we just need to work hard! Love you all!😝😇💛❤️
Wow gl!
@@Cakedyxx Thank you so much I wish you the best!
Thank you all for the likes i just started my channel yesterday and this is such a big step for me!❤
What's "sol's"?
But why don't you do it for yourself instead of your parents for once?
@ZaNC4847 Because they don't want to do it, at all. That's it.
SO PROUD OF UUUUUUU ❤❤❤
IM SO PROUD OF YOU 💕🎉🍾 smart young women hell yeah! 🤟🏾
@ and you’re missing the point 🤦♀️
@@user-btsot7engenehow is it backhanded??
"Such a powerful mix of beauty and confidence-absolutely captivating! 😎"
I'm jealous and proud.. i wish her more success in life
To any adults who see this: When was the last time someone wanted to see your gpa? When was the last time someone wanted to see your college degree?
3 years ago for the college degree. Applying for a federal government job working for the USDA in biosecurity.
Never, n I work in dentistry making good money at 20 w no debts
If you went to a good college and you actually have a job that's useful like something in medical, people want to see it all the time bc they want proof of your schooling
@kia7314 I was trained thru the company n they paid for my schooling so I didn't require a college degree
thats exactly my thought lol
So glad you made it this far, while its important to maintain balance in your life to give some time to fun and friendships, your parents would be so proud of all your achievements ❤
The first thought that came to mind was "I hope she's actually happy."
I was an honor student in my childhood, and some
time when sht hit the fan I stopped getting awards and all that.
The hamilton audio made this so much better!
CONGRATS🎉🎉🎉
Just FANTASTIC❤ Great Job! You should be so proud of yourself🎉
You’re amazing, and amazing people deserve to relax, and enjoy life. Congratulations and you should totally be proud, but give yourself some time.
That's amazing. Much respect to you. 😃
Congrats! Great work!🎉
Baby, in HIGH SCHOOL?? Dang. Hope you’re flourishing after all of that still✨🌸
I never saw a more inspiring video love this, you go girl ❤🎉
On one side, yes you go I am so happy for you, you should be proud of how far you've come, your talents, skills, and the time and effort you've put into it.
On the other hand, girl, I am begging you to breathe properly.
Yes!!!! Fantastic! You will be one of our nations leaders in the future!!! Congratulations lass!!!❤❤❤❤❤
It amazes me how most of us could never imagine how someone could actually be happy with a lifestyle like this. Its sort of like people that cant believe there are women that truly dont want kids, yet here we are. I hope she is try happy
Yes and relationships
You are definitely winning at life. Good for you, keep it up!
Absolutely amazing. Well done girl❤
Honestly I wish I was like this instead of wasting time with things that now don’t matter! Proud of you
She is pretty and smart ❤❤❤
Incredible! You should be so proud of yourself. I can't imagine how much work that must have been.
The real life Rory Gilmore🤯🫶😁
am so proud and jealous of her at the same time
frrr shes lucky 🥹
No luck at all. This is hard work and nonstop work feel like.@@VixieAderson
As I'm really proud of this person don't compare your self to them because we are all different and smart in our own way and some very successful people didn't even go to college or finish high school and I'm really proud of you even if you think you haven't accomplished anything
BYEEE LOVE YOU POOKIES 🪿👹🌸✨😜🌊🏄♀️🦄💗
I love the you cared that much to get involved, that's a beautiful character trait. You're an outstanding example of making the most of your time. May your life be filled with many rich blessings 💖
This is that one person your family members compares you to and makes you question your life choices and where you went wrong or what you did wrong
And then we all work in the same cubicle. Life is weird like that.
Hardly. She's the one running the company.
And in 4-8 years no one will care about all that hard work
WooHoo 🤩 Very Nice….now the rest of your life will be easy - You go Girl!🎉
That’s commitment
That’s so sad bc she’s gonna look back at her high school years and wish she had more fun. Especially growing up in Florida is SUCH a privilege. I didn’t realize how bad people’s quality of life was in other states until I moved out of Florida. I love being an educated person, BUT I loved going to the roller rink & sushi with my friends more.
5.47 is crazy
You're amazing!
YOU DID AMAZING!!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK STRANGER!!❤
she’s the asian prophecy
10! 🤩🤩Awards wow that’s crazy!!!! I’ve never been so proud and happy for a complete stranger on the internet in my entire life!!!🎉
YOU GO GURL LEAVE THEM SPEECHLESS WITH SUCCESS. 🎉🩷
Poor girl... Does that make you truly happy?
If this was a guy you wouldn't ask this.
Obviously she's happy
@@jerricho11 how do you know
Me watching this when i actually needs to make my homework
Exactly
im doing a ap lang project due tonight 💀 in my defense its a group project and im doing most of it
shes got all this AND shes gorgeous 😢❤
Why is there no comments complimenting the song? Non stop is one of the best Hamilton songs
There. So
Congrats. Idek you but I'm proud of you.
Im SO PROUD EVEN THO IDK YOU GO GIRLL
@@krn2683 I love how people think that jocks don’t grow up to be successful. Newsflash, the jerks tend to be just as successful or more. 😂
Let me tell you, as much as you learn and push yourself early on it pays back so so much later, but you cen't let school have your life, have as much fun as you can and let yourself be you during the best years of your life
You got this gurl❤❤❤
Literally my dream for the future 😂
this is the person i will always cry about never being despite my efforts -A hs senior that just got rejected from NHS
She just called us dumb in a million different ways 😂
Nice the children are free to be!
Summoned all the Hamilton fans
I'm all smiles like I know her. So proud of you, young lady.
Finally bro someone who has a brain 😭
Ikr, most of the comments here are americans/western people so that explains their priorities but you can tell they are undermining her achievements and just straight up reveals their jealousy.
so inspiring. need more girls like you in the mainstream
Why?
@idkwhatodo521 so girls can follow education, instead of opening OF or trying to please men
i just know she got accepted to every single ivy league
She’s gotta have the happiest parents.
Or parents who set an impossible standard
