It's a lot more dymanic than the Roland ACB version, and a lot more accurate than the Zen version. It's kind of the best of both worlds, that Roland hasn't delivered yet. However I do have to say everything that they've updated so far on the acb2 engine sounds absolutely jaw-dropping amazing. I'm guessing the Jupiter's going to be updated soon. Either way, mad love for everything the TAL MAKES. TAL Sampler is my most used plugin ever.
Thanks for making this. Sounds and looks really nice. I’ve either owned or played every Jupiter 8 product ever made (including the original). It looks like I’ll get this one now, too. 😎
My real Jupiter 8 fell off the 2nd tier of my Ultimate Support triple tier stand and hit the concrete floor when a roadie failed to tighten the tier knobs at a concert, it didn’t hurt the operation of the instrument one bit, and put a barely noticeable small ding on the right metal end cap, the Jupiter 8’s were built like tanks, and mine served me well all through the 80’s without a hiccup, only in small clubs where it’d get hot would the oscillators drift .. but the auto tune button always faithfully brought her back in calibration in seconds. The price of these in mid 2024 are hovering around with asking prices of 30k USD! Ridiculous! I was only able to get $450.00 for mine around 1989/90’ish after it sat in the Los Angeles recycler for almost a month! The guy that bought it if he still has it is sitting on quite the investment! Lol 😬👍 To my aging ears this plugin sounds about the same as my real one going through the early digital recorders, and I don’t have to worry about keeping it locked up in a vault 😄
other bass sounds...i didn't find too many good ones. Tal Uno Lx has some new sounds now from other creators, like Luftrum made a good one now. I will buy it.

I have had the TAL J8 for a year, still stuns for how warm and authentic it sounds!

BTW - YOU CAN'T FIND THESE SOUNDS IN ROLAND JUNO X - THAT'S WHY I HAVE SOLD IT ON EBAY AND I BOUGHT A USED KORG PA3X FOR 1000 £
Damn this thing is VERY good. This sounds just like a real JUP. For a fraction of the price without the fear of it breaking any minute now.

Thank You...
Great sound! But actually is this vst close to the original synth more than the Arturia one?
Personally, I think the TAL's J-8 is much better than Arturia's JUP-8 V.
I'm not finding these presets under the "factory presets" that TAL offers (especially love the Mighty Jupiter ones), where can I find these? Thanks!
Most presets are from the folder "Himalaya - Neon Jupiter".
Will it be avail for ios?
See on their website. It should be.

All of them. When i look for a bass or synth, i try everything it takes too much time. But i have favorites list in each vsti.
