I bought a Jeep liberty 2004, and I was without the oil level stick. I bought one on the internet that claimed to be from the model, but I put 5qt of oil and it didn't dirty the oil stick. Could you measure the oil stick of your Jeep and give me the length?
I currently do not have this Jeep in my possession. You may want to confirm with the dealer that you have the correct part. Do you still have the part number for the dipstick?
It helps to remove the oil fill cap BEFORE draining the oil to allow air flow to help get all the old oil out.

Every time I change my oil I check this video to make sure I'm opening the oil pan not the transmission 😂
