    The neighbors, Gilbert and his wife, are ANGELS . . . They were more worried about making this grandmother comfortable until help came to take her to the hospital. They were smart enough and empathetic enough to not interrogate her about what happened. I'm sure they would have listened if the grandmother asked them questions about what happened, etc. but credit to them for not being selfish and taking 100% perfect care of your neighbor. Special People . . .

As a mom it’s my job to make sure my kids are healthy and stable enough if not we report and get them help. His parents failed him! His peers failed him, neighbors just everyone that saw him. There has been more than 250 mass shootings in 2022, 38 of them was after the Texas shootings at the Elementary school. The Us has more mass shootings and gun violence then any other countries. Other Countries before gun violence became a Pandemic Gun Control changes was put in place. Here in the United States it will continue due to it's all about money for the Republicans who continue to shoot any gun control changes. So sad all these children and teachers lost their lives. Gun laws make sense but if this kid planned this for 2 years how does extending the age to buy a gun prevent this? We would have been looking at a 21 year old instead of an 18 year old and from the sounds of it he would be even more disturbed. I'd like to think that some law would have helped but 2 years of waiting and planning....I have a hard time believing that this guy, had he not had access to a gun wouldn't eventually planned something just as horrific like using explosives. It's crazy, you can literally find how to make pipe bombs on the internet ,,,made with store bought items. or the guy could have driven his truck through the crowd as school let out. ...I want to keep guns out of disturbed peoples hand but with as many people that seem to be losing their minds I'm afraid the violence will just change and not go away until we all change.

      Age plays an important role when it comes to school shootings as the profile of school shooters is typically 18-19 yo males. Teenagers are most likely to make impulse decisions versus a fully developed adult/brain.

    • @TheSoulonfire82
      @TheSoulonfire82 2 года назад

      @@TheKRGS Funny, because when my parents were in high school during the 70s guys use to come to school with shotguns and hunting rifles hanging in their trucks...Kids shot .22lr rifles during PE....The guns were just as deadly then but the kids didn't go around murdering each other...Fast forward to a society that embraces violence and rewards bad behavior...the media glorifies these killers and the weapons they use....The problem isn't guns, it's society and folks like yourself who sidestep any personal social responsibility.
      You bring up young people making impulse decision...With a comment like that you obviously haven't been paying attention nor putting any real thought into your comments....Do you seriously think a young man planning for 2 years to execute children is a "impulse decision" ? For the love of God, if you are going to express your opinion publicly at least put some thought into it first....Also, the human brain isn't fully developed until around 28 years old so I guess we should let anyone drive, drink, enlist in the military or bear the responsibility of choosing a career path if they aren't developed....
      I've been shooting since I was 8 years old with my younger brother following behind....At 39 years old I'm happy to convey that at no point did I nor my brother decide to impulsively go on a unhinged murder spree of children because I was influenced by a gun. It's amazing how little though you folks have put into a solution...But then again the real solution involves ALL OF SOCIETY HAVING TO CHANGE but you people don't want to actually do anything or give anything up yourselves but are willing to bandwagon against others who did nothing wrong. Guilty by association.....Send your kids off to war but ask society to be better to eachother so these kids stop killing each others and it's silence.

    My question is, why did this gun shop sell this 18 yr old purchase an ak rifle and return later to purchase a large amount of ammunition. Then later return to the same gun shop to purchase another ak rifle. The question the gun shop owner should have asked is, what do plan to do.. Go hunting? Obviously not. Who goes hunting with two ak rifles??? Of course they didn't care. Why? Because of the monetary gain they received from the sells. I'm in Arizona, but I'm from Texas. I have no family in uvalde tx, but my heart hurts because of the innocent young lives that were takened before their time. My heart goes out to the parents and the family members.
