Last year I found Quinn pass by mistake trying to find a place to camp. Road behind the sign goes down into a wash with a turn around spot big enough to camp. Quiet and peaceful. Hiked up the road further and found reminatnts of the mine and the cistern that held the water. Such a fun location to rock hunt too👍
I have Lived in Havasu for over 10 years and worked at Taco Hacienda...one of the 1st restaurant's to Open in Lake Havasu City....man we had to Close Up Shop a While Back! Great Memories will Always be with me 👍👍👍👍🕺
Camped between Bouse and Wynn Pass when I first came down to Arizona from Idaho. Best BLM spot in the area in my opinion. Found out about it on RVerTV. Thanks Russ!
Man Russ thanks, it's deserted. My mother used to stay in Q till April, May some years. She liked it when it slowed down, but she missed the snow here in Idaho. So she usually came home earlier. I've only been thru in 100* weather once, not that it's that WARM there now. It was pretty normal population that time of year. My mother & I dug wavy olivine there at Quinn Pass a couple times thru the years. Thanks again. TAKE CARE..
When I first started viewing I thought wow the resolution is terrible. And then I remembered that RUclips is throttling definition due to a decrease in bandwidth. So you have to manually go back in and select a higher definition. Now we're back to normal :-)
🙋♀️I am so thankful to you Russ! What a blessing your videos are to me! I loved the ride out to Quinn Pass. What an interesting story board. Wander if you still get water there? Those Cactus were tall. You have beautiful blue skies, & such a nice way of starting your day. The Beast sounds quiet inside. 👍 New Dr. Suess book coming out. It's one that never got published. Something to do with a Museum. Enjoy your day! I've done got the garbage out, & went back out & brought it back onto the porch. Had breakfast before your video this morning. My coffee cup now sits on the right side of me. lol
Russ, thanks for providing some content in these trying times. Our RV travel plans are on hold for the time being. We usually travel quite a bit, but we may have to wait until much later in the year this time. Anyway, we who watch your channel appreciate you giving us something to watch.
We ran the arizona peace trail last nov. day 2 we took off from qsite the trail runs through we ended up at havasu for day 2 stay its a great trail for off roaders you get to see parts of the state you’d never get to see otherwise. Love your vids keep it up
For sure, stuck n bored. Russ, your videos are so bright and sunny. Why is IL so cloudy & dark? I wonder about AZ looks like bright middle of Summer. Pretty. So many stories, Mr Quinn. Wonder if historians remember him leaving NJ? Interesting. Thanks for video!!
Great video, Russ. We look forward to watching you every day as we are still hunkered down sheltering in place at Arizona Sun rv park, Quartszite. Your videos are a ray of sunshine ☀️ for us all. Thanks so much. Kathy and Steve
Yay for Plomosa Road! My favorite area near Quartzite. For most of February we camped 2 miles East of 95, The big deal is in the Petrified Palm Bog just about one-quarter mile north and down the trail from the marker. There are huge logs of petrified palm laying across the trail.
Desert camping is a good way to hang out for "social distancing" or any other time. I was amazed by how many rigs were at Plomosa when we went to check out the Bouse Fisherman intaglio in January. The road from the little parking area was closed when we were there. It was an easy hike though. Pretty cool. Thanks for the cruise.
This is an aside out of nowhere Esperanto at UCB The only person I ever met knew what language was.. was also UCB alumni.. served steak dinner to Elvis at Fort Dix. Watching western movies late night thinking things will get back on track
A big wave, and thank you Russ for being brave enough to leave the home....We hope you stay safe, and for goodness sake wash your hands, and gel lots or use gloves when using gas pumps, money handling, or going into groceries stores, so as not to get the virus....We are watching....take care and always the Big Wave....CDH
Thank you Russ! I'd love your opinion. With Ca. plates on my van will I get the stink eye in AZ during these times? This video is super informative! I followed along on google maps and It is possibly time to try some BLM camping. No need to be in an RV park at this time since the toilets are closed anyway!! Your POV shines and it's nice to see your cameo's!
Nice video Russ. They are hoesing you guys down there on the gas. It' s only 1.70 for reg. And 2.36 for premium in Maine and look how far they have to Truck it to get here. Arizona should be paying 1.25 for reg. We call people from Arizona Flat Landers. You proved why. Flat Land everywhere. 😊

Coronavirus now detected in 2 people in LaPaz County. Stay safe. We will be in Quartzsite through April. Staying isolated while helping neighbors.

We are now locked down in Colorado. Safe travels, be safe and nice to get the drone up for a bit.

This van has more road noise than the other one did on microphone. What you think Russ.
Would love to see the Dusty Nugget more.
Hi Russ , why do they put all that black lines on the roads , is it because of the heat ?
Although I have the luxury of working from home right now, I’d rather be roaming around the desert...
What is mined here...,?
How is your fuel mileage on the Beast since the build?
Get that metal detector out and fire it up. Find same of those big nuggets.
