Great video as always! That whole area is so full of history, several movies could probably be made. Ehrenberg, Yuma, Parker were ports of call back in the 1800's when steamboats supported commerce before the railroads came in. The Great Fire of Parker was started when embers from one of the ships boilers ignited an army tent encampment on a windy day. It's ironic, since the railroads put the steamship companies out of business, that the railroad bridge in Parker burned 150 years later. I learned about this bridge fire from one of your videos, Russ!
Love the video. I used to go to Ehrenberg, several times a week, when I was living in Quartzsite for work. Those chickens (and rooster) were a pleasant surprise. So cute.
I spent the weekend in Ehrenberg in my Truck at that flying J. The temperature was 127 degrees F so I walked down to the river and stayed there for the better part of the day. None of the shops AC in Ehrenberg or Blythe which is across the river could keep up. River is separates Az From CA
Yes ,,, have been enjoying all your videos.. just yesterday accidently found your Idaho Black Hills video, was great thx! You talk about panning gold, so wanted to tell you going north on 15 at Three Corners (Nevada, Utah & Arizona) after driving through pass, there is a pullover , short turn to right into area of Virgin River.. Water is always fairly low for wading, & after rains sometimes you can get lucky panning for gold.. We have a few ounces each in 3 or 4 medium size medicine bottles.. Wont get rich, but lots of fun...They have picnic tables etc there.. Be well..
🤣 Why did the chicken cross the road? It didn't want to be late for dinner! Yummm. The Pioneer Cemetery was very interesting, so many great pieces of history to discover and explore in Arizona. Thanks!
Russ sure glad your driving, that way I can sit back and enjoy the Scenery..Thanks for the ride, you let me out here...I ll catch you on down the road.....JB...
Hey Russ, so we went to Windy Point by Chloride AZ today. We posted a video, you should check it out. It’s somewhere you may be interested in going. You would have some amazing drone shots. Stumbles and Fumbles.
You made my day! Yesterday I seen our gas in Independence, & Galax, Va. @ $1.39 gal. Is that farm land on the other side of the Colorado River? It was so green in spots, it reminded me of a patchwork quilt. 👍Loved it! That was a good one Russ! Sure gave those chicks something to cluck about!
Hey Russ we took an amazing Jeep ride a few weeks ago. Maybe you’d like to film there, it is called Ear Falls trail near Parker dam on the California side. We saw Bighorn sheep herds, Wild burrows and beautiful desert art someone was very creative. Your videos are so awesome! Hi from Arizona Sun rv park. 🙋
Thanx for this video...most interesting little look at the pioneer cemetery. So many times I have come across similar burial spots in the desert. One thing I have noticed about all desert burial sites is that when I walk through them the rocks and sand sound the same. Footsteps and maybe wind is all I ever hear .
In the 1950's, while in AZ and just about to cross the river bridge, if one looked down to the right, adobe walls of old Ehrenberg buildings were visible.
Read Martha Summerhayes Book "Vanished Arizona." Wife of an army quartermaster officer, she spent two years here 1875-1876. Interesting reading about frontier life.
Kind of amazing to think that during the time of the American Civil War there were enough people in that part of the country so as to be able to put some of them in a proper cemetery.
When you are driving on the road and narrating your video's I can hear you real good but when you stop talking, I hear rather loud wind or motor noise but as soon as you start to speak the noise all but disappears , can you comment on what the roaring noise is caused from ! Just curious. Thanks for another interesting video !
1862 it always amazing to me that people from the east were out here during the civil war

Thank you for giving us so much info on places only sparsely visited in the area that we can still visit safety.
Russ, I took a closer look at the chickens crossing the road, one is a rooster and other two are part of his harem.

Russ, how much did you have to pay those chickens to walk across just then??? Too funny! 👍
💕new chicken joke.
Always so much wild west history to learn about.
Those are FAMOUS birds now Russ. TAKE CARE..

Hi. When is your next live stream?
In the 1950's, while in AZ and just about to cross the river bridge, if one looked down to the right, adobe walls of old Ehrenberg buildings were visible.
Hi Russ. Nice vids. What drone do you have?
BTW I paid $1.28 per gallon in Evansville, IN yesterday. Pretty cheap but I remember when I was in high school it was less than $.30 per gallon. lol
You gotta see the whole video to understand why them chickens crossed the road.
Do you stay through the summer?
Lou & Angie
Russ, those chickens should be social distancing !!!
too funny
The memorial you speak of must be the daughter of the Paul from the bookstore, rip. I would like small town life.
Read Martha Summerhayes Book "Vanished Arizona." Wife of an army quartermaster officer, she spent two years here 1875-1876. Interesting reading about frontier life.
Do you live in a RV full time in Quartszite and if so how do you deal with the summer heat.
Kind of amazing to think that during the time of the American Civil War there were enough people in that part of the country so as to be able to put some of them in a proper cemetery.
Remember when I-10 used to be one busy interstate...dah 🤪
For good luck.
Thanks

You went to all the trouble to go there and didn’t read any headstones?!!!
Some people or in this case chickens. Will do anything to be on Rver TV...LOL
Why did the chicken cross the road? She wanted to see someone laying bricks.
You beat me to it. lol
haha, RVerTV Chickens.
I guess it would've been disrespectful to visit the actual graves.
Chickens headed to yuckdonalds to become nuggets.
too funny
