    Since magazines aren’t available anymore I really appreciate lineup of Suzuki’s and all brands I did not know they made some of these bikes I did not know that they made a sport touring bike GSXGT

    The GSX 8R is a parallel twin not an in line 4. The first new Suzuki motor in years now used in at least 3 bikes. They should make a cruiser using this motor.

    MANY motorcycles have mirrors mounted on the fairings, including others in this lineup.

    Good info as usual!
    The M109s don't have a six-speed gearbox because there is enough torque in the 109 that they can use a wider spread between the gears, a "wide ratio gearbox". There would really be no benefit except maybe for an extreme overdrive but that may cause other stress-related problems in the drive train.
    The big old Kawasaki 2000cc, 125 cubic inch, had a five-speed also. Torque monster! Ride a torquey five-speed bike for a while, I'll bet you may not want to go back to a six-speed.

      I bought , brand new in 1976, a Yamaha RD400c (c for Canada) $1,389.00. They’re going for, in like new condition, $6-7,000.00 easy (in US$), $10,000.00 to me

    I said to a friend of mine, “I heard there is a good lookin’ Suzuki up at the local dealership that they have a great deal on. Why don’t you go up and take a look at it and tell me what you think?” A day later, he says, “I went looking, but I honestly can’t find a good lookin’ Suzuki.” Had to laugh at that.

      Have seen vid on a 1500 intruder and a c90 bolavard not much difference between them one about 15000.00 the other little over 13000.00. Is this not true?

    • @cruisinwithphil
      @cruisinwithphil  6 месяцев назад

      @@stephenpiasecki7984 I believe they are basically the same bike. Here in the States I think the Intruder was replaced by the Boulevard. But Suzuki no longer makes either one here.

    I wish Suzuki made dedicated road tourers. Modern version of the Cavalcade They make quality machines. I have had many Suzukis and never one problem. 83Katana, 82GS1100G, 841100 EFE, 86 GSXR1100, 99Hayabusa, 97 DR650. All faultless.

      I know Honda has the Goldwing and Kawasaki has the Vacquero, but the Goldwing costs just as much as the Indian and Harley tourers, and the Vacquero is butt ugly. I agree, I wish one of the Japanese big 4 would make something that actually competes with Harley and Indian touring bikes.
