I visited Israel this year and I noticed that too, Jews were very rude and always arguing and shouting in public while the Arabs were very kind and welcoming, one Arab child even had a bag full of sweets and he was giving them to strangers in public, I wanted to pay him for it but he refused and said it’s for our guests

This has to be the fakest story in a youtube comment god damn you muslims are wild at propaganda. We have the stats that you objectively are the worst behaving people in our societies. Jews have not driven a truck through our christmas market. Nor have they blown up thousands of our people out of hate. Nor are they overrepresented in the worst statistics. The only ones you are gonna convince are other muslims that already hate jews.

I'm South African and my experience in both communities is good, but I found that the Muslim community in general is more giving, especially to those who lack, and have a hospitality that is just so warm. Of neighbours I miss my Muslim ones I had the honour of living next to when my daughter was small and I was a single mom. So so good to us they were. They also all fed the homeless, the birds, the stray dogs even. I've celebrated Eid with the neighbourhood ...that's so special.
This is just my experience and I have always since had the hugest respect for this culture.

Arabs are reaallly warm and friendly, I had an Arab classmate and our mothers used to hang out too, when they were at our house she (the mother) would go to kitchen and brew tea and do the dishes like it was her house! when we went over she would tell us to go and open the fridge and take anything we like but since we were timid she would think it's not to our taste so she would make felafels or order some fast food! Regarding food, drinks and rest Arabs are the most aware and ready to provide comfort god bless their kind hearts.

I questioned myself why Israelis are so rude. How many times they asked me where I am from and what religion I have. Not just a question but to tell me ‚what the f..k you want in our country?‘ It was always so dramatic. I mostly felt not welcome. In another episode they asked Muslims if they would invite a Jewish friend over to their home for Iftar and most people said 'no'. One was a bit more specific saying that he wouldn't do it because a) he doesn't want anything to happen (to the Jewish friend) and b) because people might think he's a traitor/spy. So.. -"Jabir said, " "Someone riding should greet someone walking, and someone walking should greet someone sitting down. When there are two people walking, the better of them is the one who gives the greeting first." (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 983)
And now let us see how muslim begann to change their Character when the Islam became brutal and intolerant:
-'Abdu'r-Rahman said, "Ibn 'Umar passed by a Christian who greeted him and Ibn 'Umar returned the greeting He was told that the man was a Christian. When he learned that, he went back to him and said, 'Give me back my greeting.'" (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 1115) Whaaaaaaat his greeting becames different after he realized that he was greeting to a christian??????
      - Ibn 'Umar said:
"A man passed by the Prophet when he was urinating and greeted him with Salam, but he did not return his greeting." (Vol. 1, Book 1, Hadith 37) Sahih = Authentic ????? maybe because he was holding his.....- he was too dirty. I hate it too- when people greeting me while i am busy (and dirty) :D this Hadith is not only Sahih - its also a Stupid one
-'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'as said, "Do not greet anyone who drinks wine." (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 1017) drinking wine is a sin!!!! whaaat????
-'Ali ibn 'Abdullah was heard expressing his dislike for chess and said, "Do not greet someone who plays it. It is a kind of gambling." (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 1019) Chess is a sin too !!!! whaaaat?????????
-‘Abdallah b. ‘Amr told that when a man wearing two red garments passed the Prophet and gave him a greeting he did not respond to his greeting.
(Mishkat al-Masabih 4353) two red garments is a sin!!! Whaaaat ?? the guy was wearing red clothes, ? no blessing for him?? :D
      - Mohammed said, "When one of you meets a brother (in Faith) he should greet him. Then if a tree or a wall or a stone intervenes between them and then he meets him again, he should greet him." (Riyad as-Salihin 860) - ehm, Bother lets do it again ´cos that tree was between us- :D thats a funny one :D
-Allah's Messenger said: "Do not greet the Jews and the Christians before they greet you and when you meet any one of them on the roads force him to go to the narrowest part of it " (Sahih Muslim 2167a) uffff the last one is 100% pure muslim politeness

      @Joebonjoe 3 года назад +2

@East ok, ok I didn't want to step on the feet of any sincere person here. I have only made the general experience that almost all people judge a religion according to individual people and not according to its core ideology. A religion can only be judged on the basis of the ethics given by the scriptures or the ethics of its founder. In Jewish and Christian scriptures it is clearly written "Vengeance is mine, say the Lord (of Israel)" in Islam it says "kill the unbelievers wherever you find them until they give up and meekly pay their tribute (jizya) (or Converting). And even elsewhere it says "not you killed them, but Allah did it" - here the Muslim is even relieved of the guilty conscience for the murder.
No, the ethics of Islam are NOT tolerable. We must never tolerate a religion that lives so blatantly as hatred. The words are ice cold and clear - what else should you "interpret" here? It IS A religious war my friend - muslims are not enemies to others, but all others are enemies of them (according to their ethics (their scriptures)

They prolly had this behavior from the Quran, it is mentioned in the story of Moses Peace be upon him.
      Chapter 28 (Sahih Int. Translation)
And a man came from the farthest end of the city, running. He said, "O Moses, indeed the eminent ones are conferring over you [intending] to kill you, so leave [the city]; indeed, I am to you of the sincere advisors."
So he left it, fearful and anticipating [apprehension]. He said, "My Lord, save me from the wrongdoing people."
And when he directed himself toward Madyan, he said, "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to the sound way."
And when he came to the well of Madyan, he found there a crowd of people watering [their flocks], and he found aside from them two women driving back [their flocks]. He said, "What is your circumstance?" They said, "We do not water until the shepherds dispatch [their flocks]; and our father is an old man."
So he watered [their flocks] for them; then he went back to the shade and said, "My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need."
Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness. She said, "Indeed, my father invites you that he may reward you for having watered for us." So when he came to him and related to him the story, he said, "Fear not. You have escaped from the wrongdoing people."
One of the women said, "O my father, hire him. Indeed, the best one you can hire is the strong and the trustworthy."
He said, "Indeed, I wish to wed you one of these, my two daughters, on [the condition] that you serve me for eight years; but if you complete ten, it will be [as a favor] from you. And I do not wish to put you in difficulty. You will find me, if Allah wills, from among the righteous."
[Moses] said, "That is [established] between me and you. Whichever of the two terms I complete - there is no injustice to me, and Allah, over what we say, is Witness."

You never hear of a woman being bullied in a workplace by a male colleague but in the west, a man will bully a woman and insult her and curse at her. Akhlaq is an Arabic term referring to practise virtue, morality and good manners and character in Islam. In simple words Akhlaq is basically the ethics, good conduct and moral character of a person. It has been reported that our beloved Prophet Muhammad ( Peace be Upon Him) said about Akhlaq in these words: “The only reason why I am sent is to perfect good Akhlaq.”
The majority of the Muslims of the past practised the above. As a result Allah gave them respect.

As someone who is half Israeli half dutch. And I only go to Israel for holidays just to visit family. But I would say that 50% of the Israeli's you meet are like the nicest people ever. They would invite you for Shabbat and they offer anything to you. Very generous. But there is another 50% who are incredibly rude, just ignorant and very loud people. Always shouting and say no to you without any explanation. One time I went to a barber and he just started shaving me while he was on the phone with his daughter. Lol gave me just the worst haircut ever. I guess I am too nice for Israel. I don't think I could ever live there just because you always have to shout and fight your way through people.

@obicapa how are you certain 99% ? I would really like to understand how you determine with such accuracy. because the shirt idea isn't correct, many rabbi's wear white button up shirts. and you are 100% wrong that rabbi's won't act like this on camera. I know they typically would like to come across in a more civil manner and not show ugly qualities on film, but some are so pompous that it really doesn't matter. I have no doubt that you know some decent or reasonable rabbi's. If you want to see evidence, just search "rabbi david kaye" on youtube. you will see much worse behavior acted out on camera by a rabbi. There are also plenty of cases of rabbi's discriminating, just search "Sephardi leader Yosef: Non-Jews exist to serve " and you will see the blatant and obvious discrimination and racism. I don't blame all rabbi's, but understand that any trusted leadership position is going to attract psychopaths, predators and narcissists.. to elude rabbi's are immune to this... is unfair.

We brought a brilliant master musician from Egypt for some concerts in Toronto. He was a friend, a virtuoso musician composer, teacher who was old and well travelled . He was very sensitive to people in his perceptions as well as very much one to enjoy interacting with locals wherever he might be visiting. He was thoroughly Egyptian (probably Coptic by genetics) and multilingual . He was known for astute observations which he shared bluntly with little regard of context.
In his first hours whilst, smoking on the main business St, jet lagged and watching people go to work in early morning rush hour he simply observed people. Though he didn't see any interactions of note he made the following conclusion regarding the general vibe and conventions in public life in Toronto:
"In Egypt, people are not polite but they will always help you.; here they are always polite but won't help you". If we look at the cultural background and history and follow the money and modes inherent to subsistence in a given place and culture we can better understand the generalized truths in people wherever we look.

I do think it's a misleading question, because "politeness" is something relative to were you are in the world, what is polite in America can be rude in the UK, and what is polite in the UK can be vary rude in Japan for example.
if we are talking about Jews and arabs specifically, than we need to get to the root of their culture to understand what is "polite" for each other.
for example, jews values HONESTY and TRUST, most if all, being straightforward, (what is huzpa, rude, to other people in the world) is being polite and trustworthy for Jews, since jews around the world felt they were back stabbed many times in the past (by both arab and Christian kings) so they values honesty, for example if my mom asked me if a dress she put on is beatiful and I say "it's ugly don't wear it!" as long as it's really what I believe it count as "polite" since I said the truth, since I did it because I CARE for her and don't want her to put a dress that would look bad on her.
arabs on the other hand value RESPECT and HONOR above all else, which means they would never do what I did with my mom since it is REALLY rude for them, instead they would lie and say the dress is amazing in order to respect my mom. something that I, as Israeli, would see as being rude, not trustworthy and insensitive out of them, since they would let her go out with a really ugly dress and emberess herself in public for keeping something as stupid as the honor between them.
    that's the difference between us.
every culture values different things and act accordingly to those things, that's why Israelis are seem rude (but good honest friends) and arabs might seem really nice (but sometimes less honest and more respectful friends)why Japanese would seem VARY respectful and nice (but vary NOT accepting because of their values of POLITNESS and less individuality above all) and American might seem annoying to some (but really nice people inside)
every culture has it's core values from it, it takes their cons and pros.

Funny enough you mention backstabbing specifically. I remember watching Russian TV back in early 90's and a diplomat to the Arab world (he specifically recounted his service in Egypt) from the Soviet days characterized Arab culture just like that - a culture of backstabbing. He said something along the lines of you'd be most welcome in their houses, treated like a guest of honor, but the minute you're in the street, watch out for a knife in your back.
