I bit the bullet and got one thanks to your videos. Shows up here in the next 30 minutes! I used your code too. Looking forward to getting some good workouts on this machine. Only issue was the C10 bench is on backorder, so I have to wait for that. Thanks Stevie, you've motivated my 50 year old butt, and looking forward to bettering my health for years to come.
just bought my house and decided to turn part of my garage into a gym due to mental health reasons getting out has been difficult. watching your videos as a fan and seeing your reviews made me commit to this machine. it's due to arrive soon and I can't wait to get started with it. the only thing I'm going to have to wait a little longer for is the sliding bench. keep killing it with this content brother. oh, I'm a Floridian as well so I 100% get that temperature thing lol it's not our norm.
@@StevieRichardsFitness I am 53 as well. That is still young. Just keep doing what you are doing. I am thinking of getting this same gym. What about the jammer arms?
big tip for me owning the C10 is to use the sliding function of the bench to adjust for incline smith presses. You can slide around and find the perfect spot without having to get up and physically move the bench. Love the video thanks!
@@StevieRichardsFitness another thing I bought was some fractional 5 pound weights that can sit on top of the weight stacks. Makes progression easier than having to go up in 10 pound chunks!
@ I am thinking of setting up a home gym and your videos are persuading me to buy a C10. The main concern I have right now was how much of a hassle it would be to transition between different exercises. But your video makes the switching look easy enough. At work, we have a separate rack and functional trainer. I like the separation. If you had enough space, would you prefer a rack to be separate from the functional trainer?
At this stage, I don’t do really anything on a power rack. I may do some benching, but squats and heavy barbell movements are out of the question for me. The separate power rack makes sense if you’re doing lots of heavy work within the rack, using safety straps or spotter arms.
Hey Stevie I really enjoy watching all you’re content so the wrestling pod cast and I really hope to see more training videos thanks for all you do GOD bless you
Anything like a c10 or squat rack, moveable/adjustable bench with some dumbbells you can do so much different exercises and work out different areas of the body with very limited equipments. I would love to have the c10 and have the endless opportunities Great review Stevie! Would love to see what else you can do with the machine.
I'm kinda sorta interested in the c10, but the c10 sliding bench has a ton of appeal to me. Please, please work that bench hard like regular people would because the functionality of that thing is outstanding. A leg curl/extension, hack squat / leg press, preacher curl machine, all in one unit, loaded via selectorized weight stack(s). I'm not expecting Prime quality but if ForceUSA's bench is good enough in real world use to last for years, that'll be enough for me.
I will be doing a video measuring how far the cables travel. Lots of people have asked about that. Yes, I was surprised at how far away from the trainer I can do my exercises, especially since there’s upper and lower pulleys.
I'm not sure if you're training for bodybuilding or weightlifting? But if you're bodybuilding, you're not weak. You're just at a stage in your process. But one thing you can try is to lower the weight, slow down the reps, and get a better(and deeper) quality of contraction. You'll probably end up doing more than 12 reps per set. But the pump and stimulation will typically be greater. No cheating. Ego needs to stay outside the gym
Thanks for the tips. I really do appreciate them. Filming and working out at the same time don’t really mesh well lol. I’m thinking about the camera angles, audio quality- all while trying to talk about performing the exercise. I felt great after the workout, but knew I didn’t get maximum mind/muscle connection.
That really all depends on your fitness journey and others who will also use the trainer. Trainers like the G12, which is 1:1, works for those who want a true weight on the stacks. With that being said, 2:1 trainers like the C10 and others can do 1/1 when both cable pulleys are joined in the center via the cambered bars. Models like the G15 also have a 4:1 ratio for those who want even lighter weight and also more granular scalability. The C10 has a unique feature where the lower pulleys can become a 1:2 ratio- meaning that 100 pounds is actually 200 pounds. Hope this helps and makes sense. If you do decide to purchase anything, please use my link: www.forceusa.com/stevie
It is more narrow than, say, the G12. That has plenty of interior working space. As I’m getting used to the C10, there is some thought about moving the pulleys all the way down to open up the interior working space. If someone was much taller than me at 6’2”, I can see them hitting their elbows while doing smith machine bench press. The G12 is the only trainer that plenty of that space. With that being said- I’m very happy with the C10 and the unique features/price make it a recommend product IMO. You’re right. I do miss the TV mount too.
goodness...I cannot believe how youthful, beautiful, and strong willed you are. you need to listen to let your hair down WAY more. It's beautiful and helps you appear even more ageless. Are you even 40 yet?
Damn, Stevie. Seeing those elbows flared out in the bench press hurts my rotator cuff. Love the podcast with James. Peace.

Been waiting for this. I got a clone of the G12 maybe a week before the C10 came out. Love it but the sliding bench would have been a game changer
How many feet can you step away from the machine? Seems like you can go quite a distance from the machine.

What’s the best is it 1:1 ratio or 2:1 ratio for heavy lifting training or it’s the same thing for all the force usa trainer ??

Looks a little narrow. What's your opinion on the width being a taller guy? Would be nice if they implemented a t.v. mount.
It is more narrow than, say, the G12. That has plenty of interior working space.

@@StevieRichardsFitness The C10 interior is actually 3.5 inches wider than the new redesigned G12.
Interesting. I assumed it was the same dimensions as the previous gen. Thanks for the information.
does your C10 have aluminum pullies? mine came with plastic pullies...
I did the aluminum pulley upgrade. Review on that coming soon.
