Bobby pastored the first Baptist church I joined after leaving the charismatics. A very modest humble man - a real gentleman. Never acted like he was anything special. He stepped away from gospel singing to plant churches. I remember sitting there listening to him sing and I thought I would explode. He deeply loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Bobby baptized me when I joined the church back when I was in college. He was a huge influence in my life. Bobby, old friend, I’ll see you on the other side!
Bob,
Great to hear and see you, you look wonderful....you are in my prayers...
Beautiful! Singing fabulous after all these years. That sound takes me back to The Cathedral Quartet with Strings and Brass. Two of the best albums ever recorded.
My vote as well. Bobby was a unique voice and character. He release a book chronicling his days at the Cathedral of Tomorrow and the Cathedral quartet.
Played this song for my daughter who is very down today. Thank you Bobby.
Thank you for sharing....
Fenômeno da música gospel, sou um grande admirador, é um cantor completo, está entre os melhores tenores da história da música gospel.
You will be missed, but your music will play on...
BEAUTIFUL AND RESTFUL
Rest in peace, Bobby.
You were the best......
Absolutely. Miss my friend. Have the distinction of being the last of the singers to work with Bobby and share in his life.
Hey there J Douglas. Kenny Payne here. Long time no see. I remember the times we had with Bobby at his house. I was gonna ask if that was done on Bobby's back porch ,but it looks like it was. Nice to see Patsy in there too.
Sorry for the delay Kenny. Yes was shot in his back yard. Videographer was a longtime friend who along with Bobby is no longer around but worshipping the King. Wish we had been able to launch the 'group' but timing was apparently off. Patsy felt it was the onset of health issues with Bobby that made it difficult. Was honored that we had a few rehearsals anyway. Check out my production for Patsy on the list also.
