  • At the heart of Cambodia, a huge and bounteous lake forms the greatest reserve of fresh water in South-East Asia. Its name is Tonlé Sap.
This is where Ku Yann, a fisherman and crocodile farmer has always lived. He and his family live in a floating house. They go to school by boat, move merchandise around by boat… there are even boats with ingenious hanging gardens for growing vegetables.
But in addition to these floating gardens, Ku Yann also takes great care of his crocodile farm.
From the documentary: "The secret life of lakes - Tonlé Sap, Beating Heart of Cambodia"
Direction: Bernard Guerrini & Mathias Schmitt
    Production: ZED & ARTE France
SLICE wants to fill up your curiosity!

    I am hooked...
Wish this was an hour documentary...
They even float their farm and garden...
It's like the Waterworld movie but this has trees and soil...
I love it when they catch snakes and feed them to crocodiles...
