I do not understand that you drew grid A and gird B on level 1(which is a on a horizontal plane) while in East elevation later, it looks like it is in a vertical plan?
Where the plane was created is irrelevant. You need to think of just the plane itself. Imagine yourself standing inside of Revit 3D space, if the line is drawn from your toes vertically toward you head then the plane is vertical. If the line is drawn from one shoulder to the other then the plane is horizontal. Hope that make sense
