I've been using Revit for many years now but didn't know about it! Much appreciated

Yeah it seems one will always have things to learn about Revit even after years of using it.

Excellent video. This is the clearest explanation I’ve seen.

Thanks, you teach this subtle subject very clear. This is the first time I see the complete explanation on this subject. Please keep add more tutorial video.

Thank you very much, the topic is small and often skipped during different tutorials. I have to admit I forgot this difference between strong ans weak references.

Yeah, this difference is often overlooked and it's useful to know how weak and strong reference planes behave.

Is this why I can't see a reference plane in a 2 level or above nested family?

Hey man thanks for all your videos. I am learning a lot from them. I want to ask how and where in settings have you custamized the "visual style" for your 3D view like the one in video. It's so cool

I got it. It's the "ambient shadows"

@@Sameer.K2 Yeah, you are right. Small tip: to get into visual graphics setting fast, use GD shortcut.

Hi Rakesh. I will consider your future tutorial suggestion. I will have to dig deeper myself into all the quirks of nested families and shared parameters.
