I get a brush that doesn't pull the hair. Also you may get thinning scissors that won't cut the hair all off but helps get rid of matted hair. And you may give them Treats to keep there mind on that and not what is being done. Work's for me.

I love korean grooming-want to try Pinky”s cut on my maltese. She’s not korean bloodline and has baby fine hair. As a groomer do you think it’s possible? I’m particularly fan of the round nozzle but my maltese nose is longer.
Hi there ... yes the Korean styling is possible on baby with longer noses and/or with fine or silky hair. Korean styling is more about styling and the technique of stacking the hair around the muzzle to create the full muzzle appearance, even with fine or silky hair. The cc kool pup is great. The only 'wish' is that it blew a little warmer in the winter, but I leave it on a few minutes to try and warm up the air during winter months. The kool pup is relatively quiet and comes in cute colors. I do recommend buying a grooming arm (either the CC version) or one on amazon to hold the nozzle up (freeing up your hands). I currently rely on the Aeolus (finishing) dryer (they have both wall mount and stand), but this is very expensive for home use. I prefer this dryer as it is ionic and also has a heating element that I can control to add a tiny bit of warmth during the colder seasons. This is a professional dryer and is not sold in the main market, but can be purchased from suppliers. The flying pig has a little dryer similar to the kool pup that is decent and this can be found on amazon. Happy Shopping and Good luck!

Sé que preguntó esto hace 2 años, pero el estándar de los malteses en Estados Unidos es más pequeño que en Latinoamérica y Europa. En Estados Unidos el peso va de 1.8kg a 3.5 kg y en Latinoamérica y Europa va de 3 a 4 kilos. Existen 3 líneas la americana, la europea y más reciente la coreana.
We like to keep their torso short to allow them to comfortably wear their harnesses. In the cold winter, the short hair on their torso helps them to wear warmer jackets when we go outdoors. Thanks for watching!

What kind of trimmers are you using? I have a tiny Maltese and need good clippers. I’ve been through three already that aren’t working good for coat
It looked like she was using the Cordless Wahl Bravura Lithium. I have those clippers and combs and use them on my 3 Maltese.
