I have been praying for someone as lovely as you to teach me step by step how to groom my 2 little girls. You explain everything again and again and shown how to do the groom properly. I don't go to bed without watching at least one of your tutorials. I cant thank you enough. Love and ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching! 😍
Just groomed my maltese using these instructions. Took us forever but I think I did a pretty decent job for an amateur.
I love how you articulate! You’re voice is soothing & encouraging & that is a gift. Like Bob Ross. Excellent instructor. God Bless.😊
Thanks, you are very kind💕
No mistakes. Just happy lil doggo accidents till we per-fect the craft 😅
That is too funny, soon as I saw the name Bob Ross I knew this was the upload for me and my Maltese😇✌🏻
OMG!🤭😍my Maltese is 2 years old and I’ve NEVER found a groomer as thorough as you 😔 I can’t THANK YOU enough for sharing🤗🤗❤️
I have a four month old Maltese puppy. I got all the clippers and scissors you mentioned in another video. She is wiggly. The first time, she squirmed, freaked out, and looked like she was cut with a weed whacker. But the second time, she looks much better. Thanks for the instruction. I can do this!
The most beautiful breed in the world :)
How calm, beautifully cut! :)
Thank you so much for teaching me how to groom my fur babies. Got my tools and recently a grooming table and have learned so much from watching your videos. My girls, Mimi, a toy poodle and Bebe, a shih tzu are learning to trust me, they had the same groomer for 7 yrs. and now me. Having the right tools really helps. Thanks so much for ALL your tips. We can do this😍
Happy to help! I'm so proud of you and I bet your pups are enjoying their grooming sessions with you:)
Getting ready to give my Maltese dog his first groom with me and I’m SO NERVOUS! Thank you for this very informative video!
Glad to help!
I'm a home groomer and I have learned so much to end up with a professional looking cut. I need to do more work with the thinning shears for sure. Thanks for the video. I thought my dog was well behaved but this one is a total angel.
Fantastic!!! Yea, Gabby was made for grooming.
Thank you for showing how to trim up a Maltese and I love how thorough you teach each step and how calming your voice is to the dogs. Love watching your videos so much and learn so much on how to take care of my dogs needs. Thank you
💕
I can’t wait to get my Maltese now I know where to go to take very good care of my Maltese . I have been a little scare because I want my puppy to be healthy and happy. Thanks again.
You're on fire making videos for everyone! Great video!❤
Raquel Grant thank you sister!!
Hope not
Beautiful cut. Love it
Thank you! Cheers!
Just searched & found you! Hallelujah!! My Maltese has been to the groomer 1 time & when I picked him up he looked worse than when I too him in. He was 4 months old. Very energetic & wild. I am trying to learn how to groom him myself. Thank you for sharing your experience!!
Hi my name is carrie. I love your videos. I’ve done human hair for 30 years and retired in Az at 45. With covid I can’t fly home to my clients, but I did always pet sit it for them and do the ABC training program. So my pet sitter inspired me to look into grooming. I have a ride alone this week with a local groomer and your videos are so inspiring and helpful. Thank you...
That is awesome! Cheers:)
I love your videos! They are Spot On with honesty & being so helpful to teach us diy at home groomers learn how the real groomers do it & the best tools to use. Your videos are the best I've seen on all of you tube. Keep them coming please!!!
Thanks so much 😊 I’ll keep em coming for ya!
Awwh one of the coolest grooming videos thank you for helping us all

@@GoGroomer oooo
@@GoGroomer How is that Maltese not moving around so much?
Loved seeing the how to and have written down the move your dog to see how he looks. Looking for the right equipment to do the job
You are AWESOME! I’ve been grooming my fur babies at home and hopefully getting better. THANK YOU so much for teaching me some great tips and in depth explanations. Your videos are the best 😊
I have watched several videos and this is by far the best one! Explained perfectly. Appreciate your expertise.
Glad it was helpful!
Fantastic video! Thank you for making the videos that you do. I can tell you really care about educating people and you care about the dogs. I feel much more confident after watching your videos. I would love if you could do more videos on a maltese!
Yes please.
(This is P’s wife.)Thank you soooo much for your videos. We have 4 large dogs (1 Golden Retriever and 3 Labradors) Yesterday was their at home spa day (we bought the table, shampoos, conditioners, etc. that you recommended. Haven’t yet purchased the dryer, clippers, or scissors. I expect to get, in time.) Everything was exactly as you said, but I missed your face washing video until this morning. that seemed to be hardest. Also I’m going to use my exfoliating gloves versus the puff to see if that helps more. BEST to you!
Phil Shipley super awesome you are!!! ✨
omg this helped so much to understand what all the tools are for. I have a Maltese-poodle mix puppy and I groom her at home. Most helpful of all the videos I've looked for for this.
So happy to help 🙏
So easy to follow. I have a Maltipom and he's a...well let's just say he's not cooperative with the groomers so it's up to meMr. Yippee it's party time at my place. He is my service dog so I don't like being away from him and I think that causes some of the issue. Either way, this video has given me more confidence in grooming him myself. Thank you!
YOU are fantastic!!! So many great tips from your videos from clippers, snap on combs, sheers, shampoos. Thank YOU! :)
Yay! Thank you!
You are such a great teacher!Your voice is so soothing and makes me want to continue listening.Thank you for making it seem a bit easier.
I’m so grateful for this video... I will have it playing when I prepare to groom my Maltese.
Auntchristine Valentino Says awesome, glad to help💕
So helpful, the best I have seen. JUST BRILLIANT - thankyou... I feel so much more confident now.
I love it!
This was amazing! And it was the kiss mid video for me aweeeee
Thx so much to show this video, so I can improve my skill, my Riley has back problem, so I wash her one day and cut her hair another day myself
This is the best instruction I have come across with thank you 🙏🏼 so much
I have a Maltese to groom today, thank you so much for this video. It really helped 🤎🧚♂️
Glad it helped!
I'll try these instructions on my malti dog. His coat is so long and thick. I want to do it myself. Thank you so much 🙏
My pleasure to help!
What a great video, I was looking to find how to use clippers on my maltese dogs face, your technique and explanation to go around the jawline, and then over the head was exactly what I was looking for! Great job, thanks!
Thank you so much for this video. Following it step by step with my dog, and your video on my Ipad I gave him a very decent trim. I am sure following your methods will make him and me happy since he will no longer have to be ashamed of the hack jobs I was giving him before when we walk around the neighborhood!😊
Loved this and love u. I always look 4 a video from you as I have learned so much. The owner of the kennel/grooming shop taught me how to groom as I had already learned the Miniature Schnauzers foe over 20 years. After grooming over 27 yrs I have learned so many tips and tricks from ur videos. Keep up the great work.
You are so good and fast. Wow! Subscribed!😊😊
Thank you😍
You are a natural teacher Amy! You are easy to follow and you make it look easy even though it's not!!
OMG, Louie looks so handsome, such beautiful work!
Wish you were here in Vancouver, BC....I would take my little dogs to your groomer's shop often.... :)
That would be so nice:)
Alright, it looks like it is pretty much what I thought and how I was going to approach it.
Going to try and cut my dogs hair tomorrow when the shears arrive.
Wish me luck.
Thank you for this. I've watched countless videos and your instructions on the head are much more detailed than the others I've seen, with some great camera angles. (Slowing down the video and replaying that part was really helpful.) You make it look so effortless. I'd love to get to that point of mastery!
Awesome! So glad to help:)
Ur amazing. I think the best. I need tips for my dogs as I take care of them by myself.
Thank you😄 my videos will help you 🙏
My problem is she won't be still! She is only 5 months old! And very playful! It's a hassle!! I need to see what you do for a anxious, playful and stubborn puppy
Thank you so much for sharing. I love the way you groom❣️
Thank you 🙏
what a lovely little dog, you are the best groomer on youtube Aimee
thank you for the video i learned a lot, im a dog groomer that needs to learn mo technique.
You make it look so easy. Looks way better than using Scissors. ❤
Very good instructions! I’m learning and my dog is very cooperative! Thanks
Great job!! He’s gorgeous!
Thank you!! 😊
You are very talented.
I love your Chanel. You explain very well❤️
I just found your page and I love it! I have a new rescue pup (have had him 6 mo) terrier poodle mix; white with tan markings and he hates water and is afraid of grooming. I think he hates it because maybe the first bath he ever had was at the shelter and it was a flea bath, no fun. My first mission with him was to get him up to a normal weight (he was terribly malnourished when I got him and was skin and bones). He's healthy now and is of a normal weight for his mix. I'm touching him with the brush everyday now to get him use to it, though I usually only do it while we are having our after walk cuddle session because I want his association to be positive. And next I have to figure out how to get him use to being in water. He had an ear infection recently and the ointment made his ear hair really dirty so I was able to wash it and trim it last week but it took some work and help from a friend. I also just bought my first clippers to groom with by HolDog. Do you know anything about this brand? It came with 4 combs though I still need to read directions to make sure I understand. He is finally warming up to my scissors and to the slicker brush but he won't let me touch his belly yet (that is where the little dreadlocks are forming!). I've gone to the groomer once which was hard on him but they are willing to work with him though he cries like he is being tortured when the water touches him. It was suggested to me by my vet to wash him every month (ha!) because he has allergies. I may start trying to bathe him at one of the local pet wash stations but I wanted him to get use to me brushing and trimming first. I'm watching so many videos right now! lol. Thank you so much for your expertise. My goal is to be able to groom and bathe occasionally in between pro groomings. How do you work with traumatized sweet young dogs? Any suggestions or do you have videos that touch any of these subjects? Stay safe and healthy out there!
Fantastic video, One day I will be a great groomer like you 👍🏻
Beautiful dog and great tutorial. Thank you
My pleasure!
I truly appreciate this! My Maltese recently had a tracheostomy and I have to groom her myself.
I love your style of grooming excellent! 🐶
Thank you 💕
Thank you! So informative!
My pleasure!
Thank you for your expert instructional videos. I found this helpful❤
I loved it! I loved your commentary even more. It made me feel very safe lbvvvss 🥰😍
Your voice is so smooth and explanation is exceptional. However, I have issues getting by 17 weeks old Maltese Shihtzu to stay still for the groom. Please advice.
short, and daily table training. Brushing and just handling the dog on a grooming table will condition them to feel comfortable and trust the process.
@@GoGroomer You are the Best ☺
Thank you...I really enjoyed your video!
You are so welcome!
I love your videos! Your explanations make so much sense!
You're awesome!
Thank you so much, I’m learning how to do this with my furry babies
Glad I could help!
Awesome , what is a list of equipment you use
I link many items in all of my RUclips videos.
Thanks. Excellent
I have a Morkie.
Love this video but wonder if you will do anything different for a Morkie who has the ears more like a Maltese in this video, not a Yorky.
I have a lot of grooming videos with different head and ears trim styles.
I’ve used snap on combs but only gave plastic snap one . Clippers only came with extra blades being plastic. Her hair is way to fine and nothing cuts. Now I brush her hair then comb it no matter before cutting it. It’s very very cold here she’s needs a trim but I want to keep some length on her. In the winter. So do I need to buy blades that will cut longer or combs that trim and keep hair long. My dog is 11 but she stiffens up gates having her hair cut. My groomer said she needs 2 people to cut her hair. She’s a Maltese
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Thank you for the video. I groom my 2 maltese at home since puppies. I do leave a top knot for both my male and female. I like the Korea cut netter during summer. My major challenge is the face. They have long ears, top knot, and I like the face short but I cannot do a clean cut on the face, and around the face. It's always gets uneven, and the hair always stick to their eyes.
Great teaching Video! Can you please one on how to trim a puppy's coat? Thanks
Pomocne wideo. Dzięki wielkie.
I need to know how to groom the tail of the dog. Please show this too. Thank you.
I do show that in many videos. 🙌
Thank you!!
I love that you're willing to help those who want to keep their dogs groomed. I love your videos. I have a 2.4lb yorkie. I need help with his face ears and paws. I want a pair of great blending shears. I have spent some money on a few clippers. He's very sensitive to noise and heating of the clippers. Please help me help him. Thank you!!!
Thank you very much.
Love this video,so helpful
Hi are you located in Philadelphia cuz I love ur work my name is Margie I’m looking for a groom for my Maltese
No, I am central Pa
I would love to know what kind of clippers you use ... I've been looking & looking ... I hate all the ones I have tried so far ...
Wahl km 10
Gracias Amy 🎉
I wish you could do a video and show how to make a full mustache on a dog. My Havapoo had a groomer who always had his mustache full, but I just can't seem to duplicate it. TIA!
Can you put a link for the vacuum for the Wahl clippers?
hanvey.com/hairvac/
Thank you for sharing. We have rescued maltese. Trying to remove near her eyes but she is refusing
I just said I needed to learn how to groom my Multipoo puppy then this popped up for me 🎉
Amy, what's that tube attached to your clipper? Is it collecting the fur as it's being trimmed off? If so, where can we get this?
Yes! Here is the link to it so you can learn more. hanvey.com/hairvac/
Brilliant Amy
thanks for watching:)
We have a teacup maltese. We take her to a groomer but sometimes I want to touch her up in between visits. Under her tail especially because the poop will start sticking to her hair. Should I use clippers first then scissors or just scissors? I didn't notice you specifically do that part but that's what I'm guessing that's what you did. Thank you for this video.
Clippers
Got the two scissors.
Got the comb.
Got the Wahl KM10.
Got the blade attachments.
Got the Maltese.
I'm pretty sure my dog is gonna look like hell.
Wish me luck.
Be patient!!!! I’m rooting for you and the Maltese 👏👏👏
How did your dog turn out?
@@ChristianSaveAmerica he came out well.
And so did our terrier.
Though no more Maltese.
The dog was a moron so I gave him away to our cleaner who always loved him.
He's in a better home now.
I dont have enough poodles to practice the pom poms and top knots
What vacuum do you have attached? Will it work with any clippers?
Hanvey hair vac. You have to call them and ask what clippers are compatible.
@@GoGroomer thanks. My long time groomer had to quit due to health issues so I’m trying to get the courage to give it a try.
This is excellent!!! I have 2 Maltese & they hate having their front feet & legs done. How can I do their legs & feet without them jerking or pulling them away?
Great job on dog and video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Hugs!
Too you also Amy. The dog was awesome!
What snap on comb can I use to shave my dog that has become very matted.
None of the snap in combs will get through mats. You should have a professional groom your dog if it’s matted-too hard for someone with no experience.
