I think In Flames are the best gateway band that get many new people into metal who don't usually like heavy music. One of the most listenable bands on the planet.

People seem to group In Flames' catalogue into eras: Melodeath era (90s) Mid era (00s) Post-Jesper era (10s) It seems we've made it to the new era - The Chris Broderick era (20s). This band is in their 4th decade, with many member changes, and still puts out some of the best metal music, and remain on top of the game. This album seems like it may be the best In Flames album in a long time. Can't wait to see what journey this takes us on

I've been a In Flames fan for 22 years and seen them with Devil Driver and Trivium about 18 years ago with my newly married wife one of the best concerts I've been to. Its time to take my 14 year old son now. I actually teared up hearing this in private of course. As Metal Pilgrim said below the band I fell in love with is showing they are the best at what they do in my opinion.
I saw them with Trivium in early 2012 and that was a banger of a show and I remember that night everyone was chanting for My Sweet Shadow but they didn't play it which was a bummer but fast forward to this passed September, I saw them again at the same venue with Fit For An Autopsy (which also slapped) and their closing song was My Sweet Shadow
The 4 first singles on this albums had me thinking "are they back to what I grow up with? the only band i really listned to for my entire teenage youth". And this fuckin confirmes it. 20 sec into this song I had goose bumbs on my whole body and almost started to tearing up. In flames means to much so much to me and my music interest and this is such a releif, it makes me sentmental. IN FLAMES WE TRUST!!

It's wild to think that this band was getting a lot of hate over the last like 67 years but honest to God I still love their music yeah even after all these years inflames that still one of the best bands around and I absolutely love this song and it's somehow went under my radar despite the fact that I actively keep an eye out for new releases from them.
After years as a fan I had the priviledge to see this guys live in Wiesbaden Germany for the first time! They do kick ass! Andreas is very talktive which I liked and was making fun of Chris Broderick all the time, super funny! There was also a very friendly and good energy from them, they were also super cool and respectful with the securities dudes. I'll never forget that day!
The ammount of skill involved in this is just mind boggling. I don't even know the technical terms of everything but literally switching between "screaming", high notes, fast pace, slowpace..
I felt I’d never get to return to the way I felt when I heard In Flames for the first time. This one just hit different, like that itch that just couldn’t quite be reached has finally been scratched. Having the feel of ecstasy return to me after so long and for it to come from my favorite band makes it that much more enjoyable. Love the sound and look forward to enjoying this for years to come.

I started when Clayman was released. This song is a smooth blend of old, mid, and new In Flames.
This green color, camera movements and cool music combine so well in one clip, you don't need more. Delightfully.
It's wild to think that this band was getting a lot of hate over the last like 67 years but honest to God I still love their music yeah even after all these years inflames that still one of the best bands around and I absolutely love this song and it's somehow went under my radar despite the fact that I actively keep an eye out for new releases from them.
That outro scream and his expression gives me chills
The guitar solos on this album also, they are so good. But everything in this song gives me chills.
After years as a fan I had the priviledge to see this guys live in Wiesbaden Germany for the first time!
They do kick ass! Andreas is very talktive which I liked and was making fun of Chris Broderick all the time, super funny!
There was also a very friendly and good energy from them, they were also super cool and respectful with the securities dudes. I'll never forget that day!
The ammount of skill involved in this is just mind boggling. I don't even know the technical terms of everything but literally switching between "screaming", high notes, fast pace, slowpace..

I felt I’d never get to return to the way I felt when I heard In Flames for the first time. This one just hit different, like that itch that just couldn’t quite be reached has finally been scratched. Having the feel of ecstasy return to me after so long and for it to come from my favorite band makes it that much more enjoyable. Love the sound and look forward to enjoying this for years to come.
This is like a heavier version of "Come Clarity" and I'm all for it

In Flames´s new released singles are so far, all amazing! This is the comeback album we all needed. I think we can compare this new In Flames to old In Flames. In Flames is just a pure peak band. And that´s why IN FLAMES WE TRUST🤘💪!!!

Wouldnt compare it to Jester Race but more to A Sense of Purpose.
They had to many variations of their music to just compare „new“ with „old“ .
For me personally this is much more the kind of In Flames I want to listen to. The last 3 Albums just werent quite there for me. Tho they had their moments/songs I really like.

But I see where you're coming and I totally respect that but "new" In Flames is just the thing that I really want to listen to.
