Ips in up get posted as sp in a district by bribing 30 to 50 lakhs ,and then they rob crores of rupees from that district .
From a normal SHO to every police officer give a fixed amount of bribe every month like a normal sho send 30-50 k per month to sp and generally there are 30+ sho's are in a district ,similary applies for ,SICO,ASP ,etc ,so a sp literally earns crores of rupees in a year .....I think reform should start from above bcz India's bureaucrats (ips,ias,irs and etc) are most corrupt in world .

Actually it is the top which forces the bottom to do corruption if the top is good than bottom will be forced to follow it.
Utkarsh ji! You are absolutely right. Same situation in Haryana but obviously amounts are somewhat higher. SP earns crores from this robbery and sho level officers lakhs per month. Those officials who don't want be a part of this game are never given important postings like sho etc.

First we have to change our mentally.. we commit crime break rules for our own benefit..and if we are unable to pay in return of that..then we called it corruption.. corruption comes from us.. these bureaucrats are simply a chain follower..

For license renewal my father always has to bribe inspector...he doesn't sign it otherwise..
They say they have to bribe to upper officers also , like dm officer.
If you go to court , judge asks for favours 😑...
So we bribe police to avoid all this trouble...
Why can't we have the provision for online renewal of such license..
They don't approve any such form without bribe...

i am working as police sub inspector in state of maharashtra. u r explanation so good but never become practically possible. even all officer have to give bribe for legal scrutiny of case file. each and every aspect of policing needs money,money and money. along with that we are helpless to handle habitual offenders. once saint tukaram said"adhamasi to adham" means u should be more evil to handle a evil person. and some problem is occur in officers also like drinking, gambling. hope in future some changes come in criminal justice system.

yes sir, since i am also a government officer witness many thing in day to day working in the system. But sir, many a times the supervisory officer seems reluctant in taking action against their sub-ordinate officer .And if an honest officer makes complaint ,he/she is treated differently,isolated as an alien.Sensing the fear of alienation ,an honest officer does not take stand.
Police officials must be terminated rather than suspension . Law must be equal regarding criminal whether it is common person or police official .

IAS, IPS, IRS officers are mostly corrupt and lazy. They join the service to enjoy the power and get filthy rich. Very few join with an aim to serve the nation. I have zero respect for corrupt people.

I am sub inspector working in Andhrapradesh. I really liked your idea of providing fund to SHO for its maintenance. It will surely help many police officers to become financially independent for station maintenance and remain honest and efficient in their duties.
Solution is to minimize human interface, digitization, standard SOPs, Decentralization, minimum laws

Nice, I would like to add more suggestion if it's practical than kindly reply: if there is any complaint of corruption against any government servant, then rather asking people to prove it , our system only kept vigilance and creating dummy customers that officer must be caught and booked and matter must be fast tracked thru special courts in time barring manner. All employees of trap department must have knowledge of law and police manual and identity of these people should never be made public as spy agency.

Sir, I have an idea that might be argued as theoritical and not more practical but I think that it is pratical too and has some capabilty to eliminate corruption.
The idea is to establish a branch that deals totally with corruption but there are lot of restrictions on it so that it itself doesn't go in corruption. It would be basically a digital handling center. Every police in the system would have a small recording device that should be opened from the start of his duty on a day to the end. Any stop in the recording would indicate something wrong. And if he tries to do corruption, he can be caught by the organization which handles corruption when they will taking recording on surveillance.
Pretty good insight into the challenges that need to be dealt with! I feel there are a couple of more things that could be worth mentioning (1) Interference by IAS due to their expectation of supremacy (2) High ethical standards should be promoted within the organization (3) The quantity of IPS officers should be limited to avoid stagnation at thr top. State Police Service Officers ahould be utilized more. (4) Smaller units of Police Force with the ability to manage their funding rather than all the collection going to the state fund. This will encourage the smaller units to modernize and improve themselves rather than waiting for grants/budget that may never come. (5) Police density should be defined and adhered to. Shortage in force will always cause stress among Police Personnel.
A big thanks for sharing such a wonderful information. It's been really a good thing to interact with an officer who has this kind of hypocracy, who saw all the pros & cons of the system. Have many words to say but it's just like writing an essay on this topic.

सर हमारे कानून में कुछ ऐसे प्रावधान है जिससे लिगल तरीके से चलते है तो न्याय प्रक्रिया लंबी होती है तो इस विषय मेंरा ऐसा मानना है कि लोग शोर्टकट तरीका अपना कर न्याय की उम्मीद रखते हैं, हमे समग्र प्रक्रिया को एनलाइज करते हुए लोगो को कम से कम समय में न्याय मिले ऐसी न्याय प्रणालि का निर्माण करना चाहिए।

India bahut sare case pending ha jo ki date aane Tak innocent mar jata hai ya bahut hi old ho jata ... 1. I heard that corruption money has a hierarchy channel from bottom to top e.g. from Inspector to Political leader and each person involved in this malpractice. Could you please explain this and tell me how it can be eradicated ?
2. In the recent case, Gautam Budh Nagar (U.P.) SSP named Vaibhav Krishnan also told that each area had its price for posting of IPS officer that indicates not only junior officers but also senior officers as well as some political leader are involved in this type of malpractice. Explain this if it is possible for you.

I just want to know how they reached to that level and why India is still lagging behind to reach that level of eliminating lower level corruption?
Reason is simple. Everyone at the top be it politicians or bureaucrats are highly corrupt and enjoying the present mess at the expense of common people. So they resist and sabotage any kind of improvement in system.

Sir I respect your post and experience. I am also a retired person from govt job. But in India 90% of corruption is started from elite group. First of all pay anomaly second promotion third recruitment process. For your kind information in England, British govt never recruit directly an IPS officer. Even police department should be under Home Ministry rather than state govt, this is also causes 90% of crime reduction. Last and not least the education system is without moral. Finally, it is historically proved Islamic mentality never ever eliminate the crime and corruption from the society as well as from the country. Jai hind, rest with your IQ. Without corrupt police force and dishonest political leaders the society will be more safe and secure. Gudas are social product, so the society where weakness are to be rectified.

Respected Sir, Since birth and as a hindu I am being tought that there is three Lokas - Akash, Patal and Mrituya Lok. Almighty i.e. Lord Vishnu operates these three lokas. Police intervention in civil cases of settlement etc definitely led to some sort of corruption. but it also provides speedy justice to parties associated and further act as a preventive measure to any criminal case rising out of civil disputes.

Taking complaint from someone, for extortion from someone else, is very common in India. An A.C. IT , Rajeev Benjwal took a complaint from one of my ex-employees, just for extortion. Later on, when i cross examined the complainant, he was proved to be false.
Rajeev Benjwal was colluding with his Addl. Commr. Sanjay Shrivastava for extortion. But it took me 14 years to clear my name ultimately from Commr. Adjudication, ITAT, H.C., Supreme court - spending crores of rupees on CA's and lawyers.
Better pay bribes in India, otherwise getting justice is very tough.
The whole Govt. is a mafia.
Sir i have been listening to you from couple of your videos....and i can easily tell that you are highly experienced and have seen the working of "system" a real close.....there were instances where you were trying for a change but due to the corruption,no one supported you and stood for you...it is very saddening for any person who is willing to be helpful for the society but in return doesn't get much support.
sir firstly goverment have to setup a online system for complaints. also goverment have to gave some rewards. so where an anonymous can easily do complaint with proof . one main point is that, this system must regulate by supreme court of india.
Sir, I am working for a PSU, here vigilance is fully functional but I wonder that entire ecosystem of office is so developed that vigilance is also getting its divident in each crime. Unfortunate but it is true.

Sir , Good Presentation on the topic . But I think , some of the imp points are missed here and it’s about the Transfers & postings of Officers of various cadres in Police Deptt at certain imp places / Thanas of good income sources etc by Politicians/ Minister on some considerations/ on the basis of bribery etc as I heard from the horses mouth . I also heard that it’s a chain from top to bottom and most of the Officers / Staff are engaged in regular hafta Vasuli from Street Vendors/ Liqour Shop walas / Liqour , Sand Mafias, Truck owners / drivers and other sources . I may be wrong but just mentioned this as I heard and also seen Traffic Police in doing so .

How can a common man fight corrupt policemen ?
There will be no police or any corruption within one year in India using this method:
1) There should be a rolling Changing squad of following personals:
a) Judge -one nos.
b) Army Jawan with automatic weapons - two nos.
c) Reporter: One no with hidden camera
See and record corruption and remove from service with jail.( Like Road side corruption)
The army jawans should not enter the office building, remain out side at entry gate with instruction that they should enter the building after say 30 minutes and raid should be live on TV with hidden camera.
All squad personal must be in civil dress.
Go to municipality give a complain, if officer refuse then remove from the service and jail( Minimum 5 years)
The same will be applied on Neta, Pradhan, and all other departments of India.
A solid proof , Judge, Army man. Judge, army man and reporter can sit in truck/ tampoo If traffic police ask for money arrest and jail.
But things must be nicely recorded in Cameraaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
Raid on, corruption gone.
Catch one- one lakh will not take bribe. Do it in every state with 4 such teams.
Note: If any one ask to check the hidden camera then his service is automatically gone.Action is better then telling or listening stories. The raid must be live on TV or face book.
Public awareness and political will power is the basic requirement to face any negative aspect of society

Sir, one of the Main earnings of a Police Man comes from investigation of a case when the person is arrested and the court asked for CD to consider the bail of the accused.. And then Investigation Officer of the said case(not everyone) if gets handsome bribe then he prepare the CD in such a way that the person in jail gets bail.. Infact many Advocates smtime tk to the IO on behalf of the client.. Good to hear about your views but I think we should rely more on technology to reduce corruption. Reports should be generated real-time. All Thana's should be monitored by CCTV. One admin person should be posted in Thanas to take care of administrative expenditure. Government lawyers should be provided to the police officers to defend their case.

dear Sir i am CA and working in a MNC with decent pay but once in time I had a dream to be an IPS officer ( though i left the dream in between bcz of the same reason i.e cant work independently! ). my question here can someone from no political background or without influence ,execute his duty with honesty for a long period of time and feel proud working for country and people. General perception is that without corruption and political guru very difficult to strugle in IPS job, can we tell our next generation the IPS is more respectively job where u will get chance to work for people and only for people.
Wrong is always wrong. It should not become normal in society. If we speak against wrong only then slowly change will happen🙏 may be it will take time but opposing wrong is important. Society should also improve it's habit. Because leaders come from the same society.
