Yucca Harvest 2022

Yucca plants take a full seven years to blossom and their harvest as a traditional source of food and cordage (rope) is done with great care. As we celebrate Earth Day tomorrow we reflect on this practice as a one of the many ways the Tribe cares for the Serrano ancestral land and preserves culture.
