The scenery from your helicopter is beautiful, no matter what it is you are flying over. Your narration, and your family, all combine to make your channel a delight to watch.
I would like to mention one thing: I am not used to seeing Micah flying from the right side of the helicopter, so for a brief moment, my brain is telling me that Evie is flying it 😄 New sub-channel: "What Would Evie Fly?". Makes me even more grateful to live here. This dispels the myth saying we don’t have 4 seasons, we truly have everything. Went to Big Bear two weeks ago for autumn hiking and leaf peeping and it was just spectacular. Not New England majestic and definitely best appreciated from ground level hiking trails.

Great tour Muzios! Regardless of whether it was the sunset, the leaves, or the infrastructure, a helicopter flight with you all is definitely fun! Right now here in Ohio we are pretty much at peak color, and the last two days have been bright and sunny...Perfect weather for leaf peeping! Take care all!

When I was a kid living in L.A. I made a couple trips to Arrowhead, did a school camp there for a week, and I absolutely LOVED it -- my first exposure to the alpine environment, and being so close to L.A. proper I was grateful I didn't have to travel far to enjoy the crisp mountain air and the majesty of the landscape. I must say, though, that what disturbed me the most about this video is that development has gone out of control there. I can understand people loving that environment as much as I do, but it can be loved to _death_ and that's a little disconcerting. The SIZE of most of those houses, too, is quite ostentatious; just doesn't have that "Swiss Alps" feel to it anymore. I hope the Mammoth Lakes Sierra does not fall victim to the same overuse and overdevelopment.

It always bothers me when people say Southern California doesn’t have fall colors. It does, you just need to know where to go. 👌🏼

I’m up in Central Cal near the coast (north of San Luis Obispo). We have to wait until December/January for really good fall colors. Unfortunately if you guys wait that long you’ll probably have snow covering it, but it just might be a little early in the year for poor Mother Nature. She likes sleeping in out here.
That being said, I LOVE a good sunset. Thanks for taking us on the adventure!

California looks so diverse. here in western Canada we do not have a lot of red leaves compared to Eastern Canada especially New Brunswick and Nova Scotia like Maine and Vermont. every sunset is beautiful I agree with kiddo

It's hard to beat New England's oaks, aspen and Maple fall colors but you gave a nice show. I live in Colorado and although we have the aspen, we can't match the East Coast.

Lovely flight, and your family is amazing. Daughter is lucky she has such awesome parents, and grandparents too! I would gladly exchange two weeks of vibrant fall colors for consistent weather (mild winters) and the beautiful topography of SoCal.

I live in western North Carolina and we are at our peak this week. We have to "deal" with leaf peepers this time of year, which adds a lot of traffic to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Entertaining video!

I have to say about "A Pacific Northwest vibes". A good portion of the Sierra, California Cascades, Trinity Alps and The Lost Coast have "a Pacific Northwest vibe"; basically, a fourth of the state.
True! Some northern parts of California definitely capture those PNW qualities. I should've been clear that I was referring to southern California.
If the forest in that region is primarily a mix of conifer and oak, likely not much color in the fall. Kind of a yellow, grown mix from the oak. BTW, glad to see another casual flight for us, your fans.

I'm in Florida so I don't really see much change in the color of the leaves. I enjoyed the fall colors in this video and compared to Florida, the Lake Arrowhead area has quite abit of fall colors.

Are you allowed to fly over George AFB near Victorville, since its abandon now? Might be cool to fly over a old AFB you usually could never fly over.
It’s not abandoned now it’s the Southern California Logistics Airport (KVCV) and it’s a class Delta airport.
@@TomCook1993 Interesting I lived in VV when it was AFB and when the AF moved most people out, I remember they just left the houses empty and the debate on what to do with them dragged on so long they fell into disrepair. I think the toxic waste is the reason a international airport was scrapped.

What's that high pitch noise in your recording?
This is not "fall foliage." At this point, before the rain or snow, it's the color of drought after a long dry summer. It's hard to find the array of maples that create the yellow, orange and red leaves; a lot of when the turning happens depends on the temperature change. And evergreens, of course don't change color. They drop their needles and sprout new in the spring.

It is!! In fact they’ve expanded it with a downhill biking area called Sky Park. It’s super cool.
