Pure emotions every time i watch this years highlights. Its been 12 years and still can’t believe it. Still cry every time i see that last pen sliding in just like the first time. Won’t ever forget this and I’ll tell my kids and grandsons about it.
This is one of the most phenomenal champions league journey ever. Look at how many chances Barcelona and bayern had yet they couldn't even... Damn, When it's your time, it's your time. It was like their name was written in the stars regardless of what the opposition did. And even though they didn't get all the chances, they used what they had, and it worked! It was a really aweful season with AVB. Di Matteo comes in and Tadaa, we win 2 major trophies... i will never forget this day.. i watched the game at Yates in Southampton

Drogba caused a penalty in both Semi Final and Final still Cech managed to rescue the day for blues. 4 moments I've ever caught emotions since I became a football fan are : 1. Torres last minute SF 2nd leg equalizer against Barca 2. Drogba last minute equalizer against Bayern in the UCL final 2012 3. Drogba winning penalty UCL 2012 4. Havertz 41st minute winning goal in UCL final 2021 against Manchester City.

Many of them did such things. They used to do it all the time. And the refs always buy those shits. 🔥 Lost in aggregate after that second goal. 🔥 Then later got punished a penalty spot. Even I, who kept watching the miracle of Istanbul, turned off the TV cable after seeing Barca scored the second goal. I couldn't bear the slaughter. I felt so drained & so upset. Until A'ang, my loyal team shouted at me outloud in the very morning. I couldn't believe what he said. It crossed in my mind that I was going to reprimand him if he made fun of my misery. I rushed out and to see the news that Chelsea were through. It was a miracle. Just like Liverpool in Istanbul 2005. It became an oasis of my life longing for an 🏴 team to be victorious. But it wasn't over. Another hell Chelsea players had to go through. 🔥 Played Bayern at Allianz Arena. 🔥 A goal behind when they had only 13 minutes left to level. 🔥 Only got the equalizer with a final kick in the dying second. 🔥 Punished by another penalty kick. 🔥 And then they had to face Bayern's supporters in penalty shoot-out. I know that over 70% the first team that take the first kick and facing their own supporters win it. 🔥 And was a goal behind in the process. And when Mata failed, Bayern was leading by 2-0. David Luiz, Lampard, Cole, had the burden to play catch up. But this Chelsea team is the anomaly. They were against all odds! I believe something did interfere with this, just like in Istanbul 2005. Fast forward today, based on the stats, the data, the trend, and the trajectory since 2020/21, 🏴 clubs are ruling Europe. I believe things get better than a decade ago for 🏴 PL clubs. I became a Chelsea fan beginning of 2022-23 season.. You can say my loyalty has been tested a handful of times since then. I have no relation to this UCL win however when I watch Cech save the penalty against Munich and see Abramovich and all the fans go crazy, when I watch Torres and Drogba score those so important goals, when I see how happy all of the fans and players were. I almost shed a tear, longing for the time I'm able to experience something like this. This team, no matter how much mental pain they've gave me since I started being a blue..
