The problem I think was just the first goal. To beat this Barcelona team, you had to score the first goal I think, since they were just too good at keeping the ball. Eto really should not have scored that goal. Vidic's defending was poor and a goalkeeper shouldn't be getting beat at the near post. Edwin van der Sar definitely should have saved it. United came close to scoring in the first 10 minutes of the game, and if they'd taken one of their chances and taken the lead, it would have forced Barcelona to be more aggressive and to take more risks in their passing. This would have then given United the chance to get a second, since they were a counter attacking team.
