Yeah I came to say that. I think it's 4 though. From 8-12, 12-4, 4-8, then 8-12. Start times are a little soft though, so I usually log in in the middle of those times to find the villager that's crafting. Also, sometimes it's no one.
It doesn't even need to be that long a period of time, I found you can get a new crafting recipe from a new villager around 2 hours after you got your last one

I'm really frustrated by the fact that this game almost encourages online trading and yet it's so difficult to do it. There needs to be a marketplace of some sort where we can meet up with other people and buy / trade easier. There's so many things I want but have to wait impatiently for lol

The villager named Henry (cute modern age frog) has the entire ironwood set in his house. And honestly I'm still super jealous of how he flexes like that.
so if you talk to the able sister thats always sewing, once she warms up to you after like a week she'll give you fabrics that can change what your bedding sheets or other fabric furniture patterns. They're all really nice too
Mahwish Nasrullah I too was trying to figure out where they went so I looked everywhere until I realized, they are not in your inventory. What you have to do is take an item that has fabric on it to the DIY bench and customize it. You will then see the customizations as a plaid like icon, click on it and it will show you about 20 fabric designs. It’s so cool. You can also get a set of fabric from her each day you talk to her. :-)
Pro tip: Presents usually fly over the beach at times ending in five and zero. So in theory, you could get a present every five minutes. Keep in mind, sometimes they won’t spawn and you’ll have to wait another five minutes. I time traveled and was able to get all of the cherry blossom recipes using this method. Edit: Don’t ignore any balloons based on color because I have gotten diy recipes from every single color of balloon.
actually, 3 different villagers will be inside their houses crafting something each day. one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one at night! so you can get 3 DIY recipes once a day just from that.

Important: If you have the Able Sisters Shop, Talk to Sable (the quiet one sewing) everyday. It will take a few days but eventually she will give you patterns that you can use for DIY and it won't affect the patterns you make.
If anyone wants ironwood furniture, let me know, I can craft any ironwood furniture, I also have an extra ironwood cart, and low table if any one wants it.
there's a theory that if you use a lot of crafting items that require iron (as in making them and breaking them and putting them up around your house) that you will have a higher chance to get the iron wood recipes....

You can get the ironwood dresser diy from the "Wildest Dreams DIY" recipie book in Nook's Cranny. Thhe ironwood dresser is the first component in the amazing *IRONWOOD KITCHENETTE*
The 2.0 update has made it much harder to get new diys because when you visit your villagers in the morning, afternoon, or evening they could be cooking instead of crafting and they would give you a recipe instead. Most of the time I probably see my villagers cooking, unfortunately. I don’t hate the recipes, I just think the diys are better, and when my villagers give me a recipe I get duplicates more often than I get new ones.
A couple of days ago I discovered a little thing, if you go to Faunos island (Idk if he still has that name in your country) and you start decorating your photo set, when you're seeing all the furniture you have unlocked, you can customize every item that it's possible, that helps you to see how much you can do with anything without having to actually have everything and going to your craft bench with your kits and all that stuff (it help me discovering that you can customize the painting that CJ gives to you!)
I love this set and I wish we could pick black or white iron in customisation. Kinda want the walnut wood with white iron. Oooh. Imagine gold and silver iron 😍
I searched online and saw that someone said you get the ironwood dresser from snooty villagers doing DIY. I have Claudia the snooty tiger and so far she's given me 3 Ironwood DIY items: the Dresser, the low table, and the cupboard. So safe to say, look out for your snooty villagers when they are DIYing

Have you not talked to Sable and unlocked pattern customization? It takes a while but is soo worth it. The patterns she gives you are so versatile and nice!
I got the ironwood kitchenette as my first ironwood piece and I just got the home upgrade with the extra room so I wanted to make a nice little kitchen. Then, when I was trying to craft the kitchenette I realized you need the ironwood dresser and the cutting board to make it. Both of which I do not have.

The best thing is probably buy them from eBay , I don't like to buy everything and I like to trade , but for a ironwood dresser they ask millions and millions of bells and nmts . So it's the only things I'll buy with also probably the moon that I just bought

Y’all be making kitchenettes? I just put a cutting board on top of a dresser.
I got the ironwood kitchenette as my first ironwood piece and I just got the home upgrade with the extra room so I wanted to make a nice little kitchen. Then, when I was trying to craft the kitchenette I realized you need the ironwood dresser and the cutting board to make it. Both of which I do not have.
There are at least two per day crafting one in am and one pm.
Will you answer questions if I join? At this point so frustrated about the various venues for conversations and trading. I may be impatient but can’t get the gist of discord, Reddit says no trading and I can’t seem to get a response in RUclips comments. I will pledge monthly for an iron wood dresser diy recipe! I mean big bucks :-). So worth it for just a small conversation or help with discord. Spent the majority of day trying to search for your dis ord channel or the invite link or something. Also went on Nookazon. Get no response or offer declined even though upping any bid I see and making offers within seconds. 3 times a day villagers will be crafting something. In the morning, afternoon, and at night someone different will be crafting.
I have the cutting board ,dresser kitchenette , low table and bed. Really want the cupboard,table and chair. Could do with out the diy bench cause I'm making a kitchen. Lol I just don't understand how I have the kitchenette before everything else lol.
The best thing is probably buy them from eBay , I don't like to buy everything and I like to trade , but for a ironwood dresser they ask millions and millions of bells and nmts . So it's the only things I'll buy with also probably the moon that I just bought
