Filipinos did not CARRY Indonesians. It's just that we all know that prior to imports and stuff, Filipinos have always been better. But ever since the imports began, the Filipino imports were able to share their knowledge to the Indonesians, which made them FAR FAR BETTER than they were before. That's how Coach Yeb and Kairi helped Onic, and how Baloyskie helped Geek. They definitely had a big impact, but not essentially carried the team. Now onto the topic of Indo's chance of winning an intl championship with a full Indonesian lineup, if we go back in time and imports never happened, then there's of course a significant lesser chance of them pulling it off. But as a possible situation in the FUTURE, they definitely have a better chance. But ofc as a Filipino, we just have that "something" in us that have earned us multiple world championships. In a MOBA game, stats is not important, winning the game is. I believe everyone has to agree right now the highest level of play comes from Philippine players. During the early years of ML before UBE strat was born, it was more on team fight and mechanics (kill and push and end). Blacklist was the first team that revolutionized the way we play ML today. The UBE strat was so boring because they didnt focus on clashes but objectives instead (turtle, lord, invade, tower). There wasn't any huge eye catching moments but that method worked, Blacklist won so many tournaments with that strat. Why Philippines is better is because they focus on macro before micro. They can use low mechanic heroes to win the game, slowly learning and improving with high mechanic heroes to clash in fights and make big plays. Indo on the other hand took a little longer to adjust to the objective mindset. With Philippine players in indo teams, there will be communication and a balance between micro and macro definitely can be seen comparing to those indo teams without Philippine import. It isnt about stats or PH carry Indo. It's about players coming together from both countries bringing the best of what they're good at and combining them together. Thats why ONIC ID won MSC against ECHO.

Onic members play for onic organization. For me it doesn't matter which country they came from. Mlbb community is so negative and toxic especially ph and indo always want to prove something. Well you can't deny kairi's godly play but the mechanics from sanz too is crazy, kiboy's hero pool is massive and he play well, cw will carry them in late game and buts macro and team fight participation is lit. And of course the brain coach yeb and adi who always think of strategies. The chemistry is good too for onic id. From dota2 for example mostly a team composed of different nationalities but no want is hype about it

Indo casters are stating that indo players are "not carried" by ph imports. while this may be true because the game is a team effort and even the ph imports have stated that they would not have won without their local teammates, it should be noted that while ph imports "did not carry", they had more impact to the game in more means than one whether it be decision making during the lord dance or micro gameplay. What put Onic and Geekfam above the rest was that they were able to incorporate their imports' skill set and knowledge and utilize those to gain an advantage over the other indo teams

Actually it's the other way around. mpl ph is the only one in SEA that has still no imports. Of course that's pride for our country but the pride should come first for the organization/esports team rather than the country nowadays. I'm surprised. M series is not like World Cup where it has to be purely players from one nation. England has that similar mindset for a long time where they think they're the best at football and look, only 1 World Cup. Until somewhat recently a lot of their best players only played domestically and now they have the likes of Bellingham at Real Madrid. This is not "Import Meta", teams find the best players they can get and field to win. I do think that indos are not carried by filipinos nor filipinos carried by indos. Its a situation where they need each other in order to win. For example, if Kairi were to went to Aura or Rebellion instead of Onic alone, it would take him years to win an international trophy or doubtly never win one. Secondly the MSC, you can see Kairi missed a lot of retris but his teammates were always there to back him up. Im not dismissing Kairi as a godly jungler, but we cannot disprove and miss the fact that the indos in Onic are also strong.

From Veewise’s perspective, it can be very biased since they are filipinos themselves but sure. Yes, Kairi did help Onic in crucial situations but there are times Kairi also underperformed. For example, in the early stages of MSC or where the final match against Echo where Karltzy won every retri battle. Its not because of Kairi only that they won MSC, its because of the strong lineup Onic have. People always discredited indos in Onic saying Kairi always carry them or “Kairi Esports” whereas you can see that when Sanz or CW are not playing, they also lost in regular season. Onic is strong with its main lineup, Kiboy, Sanz, CW, Butss, Kairi, not because of Kairi only. All in all, Kairi needs Onic, and Onic needs Kairi.

Well it is true, the imports on MPL nowdays bring new knowledge about the gameplay and it shows how things are changed. GeekFam from nothing to Runner Up just a few seasons after signed Baloyskie. as an Indonesian, there's no problem in saying that Filipino carried us. in some games of course Kairi carried Onic. and in some other games when Kairi doesn't perform well the other members will carry him. the only problem with saying Filipino carried Onic is discrediting other members' hard work, which even coach Yeb recently mentioned, and he even admitted himself that he and Kairi wouldn't be able to win if not for the Indo players in his team.
from the way I see it teams with import players are indeed better here in Indo because perhaps there are more knowledge and insights to bring to the table about gameplay, tactics, work ethics, or even about mentality, which pure Indonesian teams perhaps don't have access to because they are only limited to the insights and knowledge from one country. take Homebois for example, only toxic Indonesian people would claim that HB won only because they have Indo players. but did importing Indo players play a big part in their victory? I'm sure it did. and does it matter that they're Indonesians? no, but they just brought more to the table than what ph imports in MY teams brought to their table. not saying that Indo imports are better than ph import, and statistically saying tbf there are way more impactful ph imports than id imports in mlbb scene. so the point is: teams with imports have more chance to win than teams with no imports because they have more knowledge and insights from various countries to bring to the table.

You can't deny Indo teams in terms of Mechanical skills they are very very good mechanically but always fall short because PH has a formidable game mentality. PH team eat pressure everyday from the constant toxicity of PH fans bashing own teams when they lose. Kasi dito sa Pinas bawal ka matalo specially sa international scene dahil PH pride is at stake and that is also why matitigas mentality ng mga Pinoy kahit durog sa umpisa hanggat di pa basag tore lumalaban pa.

In a MOBA game, stats is not important, winning the game is. I believe everyone has to agree right now the highest level of play comes from Philippine players. During the early years of ML before UBE strat was born, it was more on team fight and mechanics (kill and push and end). Blacklist was the first team that revolutionized the way we play ML today. The UBE strat was so boring because they didnt focus on clashes but objectives instead (turtle, lord, invade, tower). There wasn't any huge eye catching moments but that method worked, Blacklist won so many tournaments with that strat. Why Philippines is better is because they focus on macro before micro. They can use low mechanic heroes to win the game, slowly learning and improving with high mechanic heroes to clash in fights and make big plays. Indo on the other hand took a little longer to adjust to the objective mindset. With Philippine players in indo teams, there will be communication and a balance between micro and macro definitely can be seen comparing to those indo teams without Philippine import.
It isnt about stats or PH carry Indo. It's about players coming together from both countries bringing the best of what they're good at and combining them together. Thats why ONIC ID won MSC against ECHO.

Onic always staying on top for 3 season, while geek fam crawled from the bottom to the top and now they claimed the second slot to represent m5. Teams with full indo players haven't won a single international tournaments after that win from m1.

I do think that indos are not carried by filipinos nor filipinos carried by indos. Its a situation where they need each other in order to win. For example, if Kairi were to went to Aura or Rebellion instead of Onic alone, it would take him years to win an international trophy or doubtly never win one. Secondly the MSC, you can see Kairi missed a lot of retris but his teammates were always there to back him up. Im not dismissing Kairi as a godly jungler, but we cannot disprove and miss the fact that the indos in Onic are also strong.
Have you listened to what veewise said? Sabihin na natin may stats and sabihin na natin nagkamali si Kairi sa retris, you can't deny the fact that Kairi helped them is every crucial situations.
From Veewise’s perspective, it can be very biased since they are filipinos themselves but sure. Yes, Kairi did help Onic in crucial situations but there are times Kairi also underperformed. For example, in the early stages of MSC or where the final match against Echo where Karltzy won every retri battle. Its not because of Kairi only that they won MSC, its because of the strong lineup Onic have. People always discredited indos in Onic saying Kairi always carry them or “Kairi Esports” whereas you can see that when Sanz or CW are not playing, they also lost in regular season. Onic is strong with its main lineup, Kiboy, Sanz, CW, Butss, Kairi, not because of Kairi only. All in all, Kairi needs Onic, and Onic needs Kairi.

I think carry cannot really the truth because onic is already a strong team, they already win mpl when sanz still a jungler of onic and win mpli too, but they bring more synergy and knowledge and onic bring them in a correct way, so basically if onic usually have 85 as ateam, with kairi and coach yeb its becomes 95

Well it is true, the imports on MPL nowdays bring new knowledge about the gameplay and it shows how things are changed. GeekFam from nothing to Runner Up just a few seasons after signed Baloyskie. Onic ID with the help from Coach Yeb and Kairi their gameplay is now really discipline. Those who deny the fact that these imports are simply ignorant. Like, come on man.. They helped our team to be better now. At least give them a nice credits for teaching us their ways to be a better esport team.
