There is a cost to every comfort. You are using infrared rays on your eyes although it is in short term it may have no impact but who knows what in long term it would do
Please don't misinform people. Meta quest 2 and 3 both can do hand tracking, no need to have controllers to navigate ui and play supported games. However, apple has eye tracking as you mentioned, lacking in meta. But to play vr games, meta quest is superior and well rounded product, apple lacks the gaming aspect altogether. So, doesn't have controller, I find it a con rather than a pro.

Actually you can control everything using only your hands in Meta quest as well. There is a setting for it.
