In the section where he requests 8 ropes, if you already have them in your inventory (because a guide told you to bring them), he will accuse you of being a witch, to which your character amusingly replies that they are a ropes salesperson.
So let me get this straight. In-universe your character would have bought the rope from Ned who bought the rope from these isles and now youbare selling the rope back to them.

Iirc, this happened because of a "recent" update, like a few years ago LOL, that they made alot of new dialogue if you already had the stuff in your inventory, like doric quest and so on, so not quest specific.

Hopefully you keep going even after questing. Unguided bossing and some other adventures would be greatly appreciated. He has over a hundred quests stoll to go by my count, it's been around a quest per week so at least a few more years until he runs out. Maybe he will try out RS3 after that, for the quests that don't exist in OS, unguided of course. We'll see

Only thing I had to look up was the balance dolman near the end. I thought I glitched something. Totally understand how one small detail can send you spiraling for hours. Can’t wait to see him do some harder quest bosses
Nice and straightforward quest for once. I actually took your series to heart and did the new quest without a guide! I really enjoyed the puzzles more without knowing the solution immediately, and even resorted to using random items on things at one point (I missed something that had some items needed to progress)
Fremminick Isles is actuality pretty funny if you're able to hear what the cat is saying with an amulet from another quest Also both the window tax and beard tax were real historical taxes
I did just that when I completed the quest, fetched the catspeak amulet whrn the cat started meowing. Iirc the cat is just as much of a douchebag as its owner

One important part about the Helm to keep in mind is that it doesn't have any negative attacking bonuses, meaning that if you ever have to swap attacking styles, it works quite well! Also every 30 prayer bonus is double duration on prayers, so +3 bonus is like 10% longer prayers! Great work on the quests and the videos!!
One of my favorite things about this series is the genuine enthusiasm about the lore. I learned a lot about Fremenik Isle lore in this video and found it really interesting.

A little info on some of the gear from this quest under the cut: The shield itself has a special effect that reduces how much damage the ranged attacks from the trolls deal, which is never really specified. I'm not sure how much the yak hide actually helps, though. The Helm is one of the better pieces of tank gear, since it doesn't reduce your attack bonus in any style, and offers Strength and Prayer bonuses for melee.

I found out that you can click on the construction and spells and stuff within the skill guide when I was pretty early to find out what you need for them. It's been a fundamental part of my account progression since! Glad you found that and showed it here, I don't think a lot of people are aware of it and it's super helpful. Great video!

Fun fact about window taxes. That's actually a thing that the Brits did to the America's. If u go to Boston MA they have several old history buildings with bricked up windows. Because people couldn't afford all the damn taxes so they boarded/bricked their windows there by avoiding the tax
Apparently the idea was that wealthier people would have more windows and so they could pay more taxes, which is dubious logic. IDK why Britain didn't just tax based on income. Maybe the king just hated windows XD

The part of the quest where you're taxing the people is actually based off of true life events. The window tax was a British glass tax in like the 1600s. The beard tax was from Russia, the Tsar at the time wanted to change the look of his subjects!
Oooh, Lunar Diplomacy. I literally finished rgat yesterday. Wasn't expecting you to go there so fast. But between the ancient magicks, the neitoznot helm, and soon the lunar spells, these are some hefty upgrades for the account

It's not really that many I think. Maybe 3? I know it's a meme that you always get people drunk but it doesn't happen that often (you give beers as gift in many quests but not for the purpose of getting them drunk)
Some people struggle with the end battle because they bring their own PVE gear, by keeping on the yak armor and fremenik shield you actualy take way less damage in the final battle

The part of the quest where you're taxing the people is actually based off of true life events. The window tax was a British glass tax in like the 1600s. The beard tax was from Russia, the Tsar at the time wanted to change the look of his subjects!

Oooh, Lunar Diplomacy. I literally finished rgat yesterday. Wasn't expecting you to go there so fast. But between the ancient magicks, the neitoznot helm, and soon the lunar spells, these are some hefty upgrades for the account

Fun Fact: You can also attempt to tax the homeless man in town during the Beard Tax part of the quest.
But, of course, he's homeless, and will throw a cabbage at you. You actually get to keep the cabbage.

It's not really that many I think. Maybe 3? I know it's a meme that you always get people drunk but it doesn't happen that often (you give beers as gift in many quests but not for the purpose of getting them drunk)

Some people struggle with the end battle because they bring their own PVE gear, by keeping on the yak armor and fremenik shield you actualy take way less damage in the final battle
