Emotions became so full of life the day my radio Played this undescribable Jam!!! Thanks be to God for putting this melody in Judah and the Lion's heart!!! Everything Song you sing is AMAZING;). Keep of the blessed Service!!
Very cool. They're playing a 5pm show at THE RAVE next week Thursday, December 8th for only $5 bucks! It's a pre-show to the FM 102.1 Big Snow Show with AWOLNATION & Bastille later that night.
I got to see Judah and the lion live, they put on an amazing show and are very talented. I love their music so much and highly recommend seeing them if they ever come to your area!
This song is everything to me right now. Don't wait around to tell someone you love them. If you feel it. Say it. Because one day you might wake up and they won't be there.
What makes this song so effective is, it is numbing...A band with musical diversity all put into one song with snippets and carelessness indulgent beat with a hook that puts a smile on your face. Great to see bands trying hard to revive this.... SO MUCH HEART, like the strum of a banjo.
Heard this song for the first time the other day and got a feeling I haven't felt in a while.... this is such a great song, and that banjo tho? I turned this shit up and felt it. Can't wait to hopefully see this live one day
A lot of us like to look up the comments to see if there are actually people that like this shit. People thinks this is new and different sounding however Moroccan music has been this style for over 500 years.
congrats on being a douchebag and an expert in moroccan music who has been waiting for someone to use a similar instrument so you could make this comment
This song should have so many more likes! What a beautiful and powerful song. Im shocked its not #1 ! I cry everytime i listen to this song. It brings out deep feelings. Masterpiece!
Chicago 101.1 always plays the best tunes! While harvesting corn and soybeans this year I always had a smile on when this song came on working out in the fields!
What an amazing band. I pray the never stop. Their sound is so beautiful. They are so unique ....Genius...really. This song is one of those songs that I can hear.... Over and over and over again!
I was sitting in his car and realizing, wow this man is a gift from above, while this song was playing. Now I listen to this song to take me back to that feeling. For you Fransisco....
I've heard a lot of songs lately that make me think back to the past, and everything I could have done to make certain situations work out in my favor; and this song, when I heard it for the first time the other day on the radio, I stopped dead in my tracks. This song hit me, in a way I thought I could no longer feel.. Yet it's very beautiful, and definitely one of my favorite songs ever. Thank you for the good music.
Heard you on 104.5 in Philly. I've listened to some of your newer and older stuff. I really like both especially the gospel praise music. Keep doing good work.
If Judah and his band see this I just wanna say you guys are awesome at what you do, since I've heard your song take it all back in concert a week or so ago I've listened to nearly 100 times already and it still sounds good, it's also helping me through a rough time.
But why don't they play anything by Ghost? Or even announce that they have a concert coming up at the Midland. I mean they won a Grammy! The Buzz is where I heard Take It All Back. Good station! I listen to them at work from 3-11 and I love that they play new music/bands after dark.
I caught the last of this song on my way home from work. Loved it the first tune. Loved the banjo, don't usually hear in this type of music. Kudos to the band. AWESOME song. you All did well !!!
Daaaaammmnnnn!!! Judah & The Lion... playing a 5pm show at THE RAVE in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Thursday, December 8th 2016 for only $5 bucks! It's a pre-show to the FM 102.1 Big Snow Show with AWOLNATION & Bastille later that night.
I heard a short snipit of the chorus on 975 the fanatic sports talk radio. This song is amazing!! Banjo, beat, vocals...I LOVE IT!! This will be a summer anthem for sure.
Saw them last night, opened for Incubus and Jimmy Eat World. The crowd quickly understood--this is a crew of SUPER FUN and SUPER-talented musicians. And their sound is, for real, one of the most unique sounds you will hear today. They have more songs than "Take It All Back" and "Rich Kids", and I encourage folks to get their '16 album and '14 album to hear the other jams. What a cool group. I do believe I am a new fan! 9:30 Club in DC--I'm planning on seeing them again later this year! :)
Just saw these guys live two nights ago in Madison. They had amazing stage presence and sound. His voice is beautiful. Well done- I would definitely see them again, and I had never heard of them before.
Took my daughter to the Twenty-One Pilots concert last weekend and this band was one of two that opened for them. Great performers and music. I've become a fan of both them and Twenty-One Pilots since then. Very high energy concert. If you like this song, you should hear it with the bass running through you in a coliseum.
I was at tøp Feb 17 and had such a great time. I loved this song (and band) right away (I had never even heard of them before). So glad I got to see them live, and hopefully they see continued success. 😁
Not gonna lie this brought me To some tears in the breakdown for like a second I swear😭 one of the best songs I've heard in a while my wished it didn't have to come to an end haha
Heard this song for the first time in taco bell yesterday, I said to my husband "I've never heard this song before".he says " its annoying I wish it'd stop". I say to myself...Pshht you dont know good music". So I remember the lyrics look iit up an now here I am jammin' 😁😁💓💖
This is already my most played song of 2017; so happy I found these guys! So unique and different makes me happy there are true musicians out there still
I just want to say this song means so much to me, I wish they'd see this comment. My mom died of ALS when I was 16, my brother and I had taken care of her for 7 years at that point. I'd take it all back, just to have you, Mom. Ten years later and I'm finally waking up from nightmare it is to first care for then lose your mom. I know it's not about that kind of loss, but I can't help but think of her when this song plays. Fuck. This song hits right in the feels.
I found these guys through the Emotional Roadshow and I'm so glad they're on it. Phenomenal musicians and performers right up there with TØP. They deserve every once of recognition they've been getting recently, the only bad thing is that it didn't happen sooner. That banjo and mando though 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Here before this blows up and radio plays this into it's grave. Pure joy though and something which needs to be experienced live. Enjoy something different and new while it lasts.
I saw Judah & the lion twice as the opening acts for the tøp concert and hands down they were one of the best opening acts I have ever seen. They're also super nice and cool
I think I might be the main reason the views on this video shot up by 1000+ in a day! :) Heard it for the first time yesterday because they are starting to get radio play here in Atlanta on 105.7 - expecting the views to start jumping by 10K/day very soon.
That's some nice folk fusion there and that banjo player is seriously killing it. When I first heard the song it quickly pulled me in and still does. Kind of nice having different blended sounds out and not the pre packaged type of stuff you generally hear in the radio top 40...aka, regular radio play.
[Chorus] You know I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back I'd take it all back just to have you You know I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back I'd take it all back just to have you [Verse 1] Hey, my life is real great, feel I'm well on my way to my dreams coming true and I'm getting to do it with you And it feels so nice when the people sing along, they're singing along with the banjo [Chorus] But I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back I'd take it all back just to have you You know I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back I'd take it all back just to have you [Verse 2] And one day we might have a big house with nice cars and fancy clothes and a wife with a big ol' diamond ring Cause the people they dancing along, they dancing along to the mando' and some sort of hip-hop beat [Chorus] But I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back I'd take it all back just to have you And I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back I'd take it all back just to have you [Bridge] I'm waking up I'm waking up I'm waking up I'm waking up I'm waking up I'm waking up [Chorus] But I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back I'd take it all back just to have you And I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back I'd take it all back just to have you [Outro] Hey, my life is real great, feel I'm well on my way to my dreams coming true and I'm getting to do it with you
It's kind of rare for a song to come along and it feels right. like, it makes you listen and your body kind of melts in to the beat. I heard a clip of this song in a youtubers vlog and instantly paused and searched for what it was.
If I recall from what interviews I've read, the band is comprised of Christians and much of their lyrical content is Christian in nature, but they are not expressly a "Christian band"
Heard this song thrice on the radio... Every time it made me very, very happy. That damn banjo is from heaven
DC area
Same I instantly started to look for it when I heard it on the radio.
The banjo is garbage. hey plays the same three notes for like the entire song
I guess since you know that much about music, maybe you should know that most of the famous songs are the same three chords.. google it.
This comment made me laugh out loud.
If you are still listening to this you are awesome in 2023 😊
Can't.....stop....hitting....repeat!
ditto
Hint: you can right click the video and click loop ;
Thanks for the p-tip bra
you are not alone

They are about to hit a jump REAL QUICK! How were they not noticed sooner?!?
+Strawberry Swisher Hey! Hey guys, this guy wants you to know that he's edgy and his opinions matter!
A lot of us like to look up the comments to see if there are actually people that like this shit. People thinks this is new and different sounding however Moroccan music has been this style for over 500 years.
It's new and different to them and so you mock them for it?

I don't know how I discovered this song, but I simply love it. This type of music is what helps me get through 2016
I've heard a lot of songs lately that make me think back to the past, and everything I could have done to make certain situations work out in my favor; and this song, when I heard it for the first time the other day on the radio, I stopped dead in my tracks. Thats where I discovered these guys! The Buzz does such a great job promoting great bands that don't have the amount of recognition they deserve!
+CharitableTrader Me too 😄 the buzz is my favorite station
the buzz breaks bands, listen longer
Save the Buzz!
But why don't they play anything by Ghost? Or even announce that they have a concert coming up at the Midland. I mean they won a Grammy! The Buzz is where I heard Take It All Back. Good station! I listen to them at work from 3-11 and I love that they play new music/bands after dark.
Only three words come to mind when I hear this. God is Great!
such a great song. Cheers to you guys.
by far one of the best live bands I have seen in my decades of going to concertes
"TAKE IT ALL BACK JUST TO BE WITH YOU" my favorite part
I caught the last of this song on my way home from work. Loved it the first tune. Loved the banjo, don't usually hear in this type of music. Kudos to the band. AWESOME song. you All did well !!!

Right? Probably why I love it so much
That's some nice folk fusion there and that banjo player is seriously killing it. When I first heard the song it quickly pulled me in and still does. Kind of nice having different blended sounds out and not the pre packaged type of stuff you generally hear in the radio top 40...aka, regular radio play.
This song reminds me of the song that plays during the title sequence of skins!
UK I'm sure because I got the same vibe.
This song has seriously been a favorite of mine since I first heard it. Keep up the great music!

[Chorus]
You know I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back
I'd take it all back just to have you
You know I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back
I'd take it all back just to have you
[Verse 1]
Hey, my life is real great, feel I'm well on my way to my dreams coming true and I'm getting to do it with you
And it feels so nice when the people sing along, they're singing along with the banjo
[Chorus]
But I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back
I'd take it all back just to have you
You know I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back
I'd take it all back just to have you
[Verse 2]
And one day we might have a big house with nice cars and fancy clothes and a wife with a big ol' diamond ring
Cause the people they dancing along, they dancing along to the mando' and some sort of hip-hop beat
[Chorus]
But I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back
I'd take it all back just to have you
And I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back
I'd take it all back just to have you
[Bridge]
I'm waking up
I'm waking up
I'm waking up
I'm waking up
I'm waking up
I'm waking up
[Chorus]
But I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back
I'd take it all back just to have you
And I'd take it all back, take it all back, take it all back
I'd take it all back just to have you
[Outro]
Hey, my life is real great, feel I'm well on my way to my dreams coming true and I'm getting to do it with you
It's kind of rare for a song to come along and it feels right. like, it makes you listen and your body kind of melts in to the beat. I heard a clip of this song in a youtubers vlog and instantly paused and searched for what it was.
58 people need to take it all back
Had this song stuck in my head since the tøp concert, and I'm glad I found the video, so I can replay it for days
I only clicked because the name sounds Christian but now am a fan. Good song.
Interesting progression lol
If I recall from what interviews I've read, the band is comprised of Christians and much of their lyrical content is Christian in nature, but they are not expressly a "Christian band"
Christian? So they're ignorant. How unfortunate.
Nick Kephart oh the irony
You would know right away if it was Christian because it would be awful and this is catchy and good
love this song...cant stop listening to it
thought it was em ...but anyway I love this .
miss my big bro DJ
Had this stuck in my head, SO happy I remembered the name of the song
