  • If every working-age adult slept for 7-9 hours per night, we could save the UK economy up to £38 billion per year.
One single change - getting enough sleep - is all it takes.
This is not a leadership issue. Our research has found that poor sleep, and the impact of this poor sleep, is present right across the working population, from CEOs to junior staff without management responsibility.
The costs to the individual, to the organisation, and to the economy are significant. So make one change - get the right amount of sleep that you need each night. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

I commend you for talking about this. We as a society do not pay attention to our integrated life: work life and personal life - they both need to be taken care of as a whole. How much I sleep, my mental health should be a factor kept in mind by employers because how health I am physically and mentally determines my productivity and quality of my output at work. @GokulaMishra

Can you please show this to employers who may be creating an environment which demands this behaviour from John? And keep in mind John continues to do this because John either believes that John needs to do this to get promoted and get rewarded for working more hours and sleep less, and his boss cares less OR John believes he will lose his job if he does not work longer hours. These behaviours are perpetuated by workplace cultures either promoted by senior management or senior management does not carte. I am hoping senior management is in your audience and I hope they go back and promote the right culture.

Divineshot 314 --i have also . Our mind has abilities that we know not. We are as old as the stars and our soul knows all. I was not aware of this until my awakening. That'd when I began to understand manifestations. I began to examine my old writings and poetry, turns out back in 2001 my soul was aware of what I am now facing.

Little Laura the same! All my writings from back in the past have somewhat influenced the now and/or are now becoming a reality. APs and lucid dreams have also played a huge role in realizing all this.
