Of course Ben's Shakespeare reference is the name Caliban haha, makes so much sense
I've just had a look at Root via the link and omg those game pieces are so cool, so cute. But I see where Alex is coming from with the imagery of the game possibly wouldn't have worked with the era.
Board games and obscure literary references, this is *exactly* my niche
Perhaps the best episode so far. Just loved every minute of the. Alex on point with an abstract situation. Love that the situation meant Dickie got to use his degree 🤣

I had to look it up, Othello, the game was named after Othello the play. The game was originally called Reversi, but it was renamed in 1971 as Othello.
