Rotating Assembly & Balancing Machine Demo (2021 - Episode 9)

In episode 9 we pick up where we left off in the previous segment with rotating assemblies and engine balancing.
CWT Industries’ Randy Neal walks host Joe Castello through a live demonstration of balancing on CWT’s 5500 Multi-Bal machine.
Neal talks about ISO tolerances and the materials and engineering changes over the past two decades that have made what were once considered racing specs now OEM standards.
He also dives into the rewards and risks of various tools and techniques, and answers questions from the audience during the demonstration.

I appreciate the technology, but, as a “customer”, how do I access it? Is there a list of accredited shops? Does CWT do balancing?
Also, with regard to camshafts, wouldn’t provisions/ balance pads need to be designed in, by the manufacturer? Is this considered-included by many or any?
Then, by extension of this, how about a episode on crankshaft design, as in billet cranks for specialty applications.
